1. What is MyFamily+ ?
MyFamily+ is JetPrivilege’s special treat for families. Get the most out of your JetPrivilege membership by pooling all the JPMiles collected by your immediate family members* (Terms and conditions apply) into your MyFamily+ account. Redeem the JPMiles to Fly FREE Faster to over 6000 destinations across the world. Enrol your family for MyFamily+ to start sharing the JPMiles.
2. Who can register for a MyFamily+? Is there any criterion for registration?
Any existing JetPrivilege member residing in India can designate himself/herself as “Head of a Family” and invite his/her immediate family members* (Terms and conditions apply) who are also existing JetPrivilege members.
3. As a Head of the Family, can my preferred address be any country?
No. At the time of starting a MyFamily+ account it is mandatory for head of the family to have “India” as a country in preferred address of their JetPrivilege account.
4. As a Head of the Family, who can I invite to be a part of MyFamily+?
The members (relatives with first degree of separation) can be a part of a MyFamily+. Example: father, mother, wife, son, daughter. The Head of the Family should be at least 18 years of age, while the minimum age for the Member of the Family should be above 2 years.
5. Where can I register for MyFamily+ account?
MyFamily+ account registration is available online only. To register for MyFamily+ please visit jetairways.com\India. The programme is open only for the website pertaining to “India”.
6. On registering into MyFamily+ account will a new JetPrivilege MyFamily+ membership number be generated?
No
7. Are there any charges towards registering and activating a MyFamily+ account? If yes, can these be paid via JPMiles?
There are no charges for registering into MyFamily+ account. However on activating of MyFamily+ account, 1000 JPMiles will be debited from the Head of the Family’s account. These charges can be paid only through JPMiles./p>
8. Are the charges paid towards activation of the MyFamily+ account refundable, in case the MyFamily+ is deactivated in future?
No, these charges are non-refundable.
9. Can a member register as a Head of the Family for more than one Family account?
No.
10. Is there a limit on the number of Members of the Family that can be added or deleted?
Yes. You can add up to 7 members.
11. What is the procedure to invite members to join MyFamily+ account?
The Head of the Family can invite eligible immediate family members to join his/her MyFamily+, by completing their details online.

An invitation is sent automatically to the registered email id of these invited JetPrivilege members. All members who are invited to join the MyFamily+ account will have to accept the email invitation by clicking on the provided link in email and later by clearing the verification to join the MyFamily+ account.
12. As Head of the family can I invite kids between the age of 2 - 11 years to join MyFamily+? If yes, what is the procedure to be followed?
Children between 2 - 11 years of age must be enrolled first into JetPrivilege programme using “Enrol Kids” feature. The kids JetPrivilege account can then be linked to the MyFamily+ account. Kids cannot confirm their acceptance but as the kids JetPrivilege account is associated with parent/guardian’s account, an email will be sent to parent/guardian for them to accept/reject the invitation on behalf of the kid
As a Head of the family you can also link the kids JetPrivilege account while enrolling the new kid as his/her parent/guardian by selecting “Link to Family” option in Kids enrollment form.
If you are parent/guardian of a kid already and now turned head of the family, you can directly link the associated kid’s JetPrivilege account to MyFamily+ account without invitation acceptance process. The Kid will be linked to your MyFamily+ account with your relationship as “Parent” automatically.
13. Can we invite a non-JetPrivilege members to join as a member of MyFamily+ ?
The non-JetPrivilege guest will first need to enrol as a JetPrivilege member, post which he/she can be invited to join as a member of a particular MyFamily+ account.
14. Can a Member of the Family be a part of more than one MyFamily+ ?
No.
15. As a Head of the Family, how will I know if the invited “Member of the Family” has accepted my invitation to join the MyFamily+ ?
The head of the family can view the status of the invited family members in the logged in section of his MyFamily+ account. In addition the Head of Family will also receive an intimation after all the invited members have accepted his invitation and cleared the verification process.
16. What is the procedure to activate a MyFamily+ account, post inviting the members to join the Family Programme?
- Once the Head of the Family sends out an invitation to the Members of the Family to register into the MyFamily+ Account, the Member of the Family will be requested to confirm his/her acceptance to be linked to MyFamily+ account.
- For the JetPrivilege account of children between 2 - 11 years, who are invited to join – the invitation would be sent to the associated parent/guardian’s registered email id and the respective parent/guardian must accept the invitation on kid’s behalf to be linked to MyFamily+ account.
- Upon their acceptance, an executive from the JetPrivilege Service Centre will call the members for verification of the relationship.
- Upon receipt of all an approval from all the members and completion of the verification process of all the members, an email intimation will be sent to the Head of the Family to activate his MyFamily+ account online.
- When the Head of the Family activates the MyFamily+ account, 1000JPMiles will be debited from his account.
- Next, the Head of the Family and the Members of the Family will receive an email confirming the activation of the account.
17. Is there any verification process involved when activating the MyFamily+ account?
Once the invitation has been accepted by the “invited” Members of the Family,an executive from the JetPrivilege Service Centre, will call the members for verification of the relationship.
18. How will I know as a Head of the Family/Member of the Family,if the verification was successful?
The head of the family can view the status of the invited family members in the logged in section of his MyFamily+ account. In addition the Head of Family will also receive an intimation after all the invited members have accepted his invitation and cleared the verification process.
19. What happens, if due to some reason the verification process of the Member of the Family was not successful? Will he /she still be registered as a Member of the Family?
No.
20. As a Member of the Family, how will I know if I have been added, to a MyFamily+ account?
Once you are added as a Member of the Family, you will receive an email invitation and a notification of the invitation in your JetPrivilege account dashboard.
21. What happens to my existing JetPrivilege account once the MyFamily+ is activated?
Family member can continue operating their existing account in individual capacity.
22. What happens to the existing JPMiles in my individual JetPrivilege account once the MyFamily+ is activated?
The existing JPMiles will continue to reflect in your account. However by joining the MyFamily+ account the Head of Family is authorized to debit your account anytime without prior intimation.
23. As a Head of the Family, can I add or delete Members of the Family before the activation of the MyFamily+ account? Are there any charges involved? Are these charges refundable?
Yes, you can add or delete Members of the Family.Prior to activation of the MyFamily+ account, there will be no charges.
24. As a Head of the Family, can I add or delete Members of the Family post activation of the MyFamily+ account? Are there any charges involved? Are these charges refundable?
Yes, once your MyFamily+ account is activated, 250 JPMiles will be debited from your account each time you add or delete a Member of the Family. These charges are non-refundable.
25. As a Member of the Family, can I add or delete Members of the Family pre or post activation of the MyFamily+ account?
No. These rights are reserved with Head of the Family only.
26. At the time of activating the MyFamily+ as a Head of the Family, I had added only 4 members. I now wish to add 3 more members. Will there be a charge for the addition of these new members?
Yes, once the MyFamily+ account is activated, 250 JPMiles will be debited from your account each time you add or delete a Member of the Family.
27. As a Member of the Family, can I delink myself from a particular MyFamily+ account before the activation of the account, to join another MyFamily+ account? Are there any charges involved? Are these charges refundable?
Yes, you can delink yourself from the existing MyFamily+ account. There will be no charges. However, post activation of the MyFamily+ account, 250 JPMiles will be debited from your account.
28. Can we pay the charges applicable towards addition / deletion / delinking of members, via JPMiles?
Yes, the charges are payable in JPMiles only.
29. What happens to the existing JPMiles available in the individual JetPrivilege account of the Member of the Family when he / she delinks himself / herself from a particular MyFamily+?
The JPMiles available in his/her account continue to remain in the individual account of the family member. However the pooled in JPMiles will remain the head of the family account
30. Is there a limit on the number of times that a Member of the Family can delink himself / herself from a MyFamily+ account to join another MyFamily+ account?
No.
31. Once Member of the Family is delinked from a particular MyFamily+ account, can he/she join the same MyFamily+ again?
Yes
32. As a Head of the Family, will my JetPrivilege tier get upgraded basis the Tier Points / Tier JPMiles earned by the Members of the Family registered against my MyFamily+?
No
33. As a Head of the Family, can I pool in all the JPMiles available in the accounts of my Members of the Family?
Yes
34. Is there a limit on the number of times that a Head of the Family can pool in JPMiles from a member of the family’s JetPrivilege account
No. Head of the Family is authorized to pool in ‘N’ number of JPMiles, ‘N’ Number of times from any linked Member of the Family’s JetPrivilege account.
35. As a Head of Family, can I redeem the JPMiles available in any of the accounts of my Member of the Family?
No. However as the head of the family can pool in the JPMiles from the account of the family members. These JPMiles will be available for redemption for an award ticket for travel to be taken by self, family members or friends.
36. As a Member of the Family, can I pool in the JPMiles available in any of the family members’ account registered against the same MyFamily+ account?
No
37. As a Member of the Family, can I redeem the JPMiles available in any of the family members’ account registered against the same MyFamily+ account?
No
38. As a Member of the Family, can I redeem the JPMiles available in my individual JetPrivilege account?
Yes
39. Is transfer of JPMiles permitted amongst the JetPrivilege accounts of Family members belonging to the same or different MyFamily+ accounts?
Yes, you can transfer JPMiles to JetPrivilege members who belong to the same or different MyFamily+ accounts. JetPrivilege programme transfer JPMiles charges and terms and conditions apply.
40. Is transfer of JPMiles permitted amongst the Head of the Families of different Family accounts?
Yes, JPMiles can be transferred amongst the Head of the Families of different accounts at a charge. JetPrivilege programme transfer JPMiles charges and terms and conditions apply.
41. In the event of the death of the Head of the Family, can we appoint a Head? What is the procedure for the same?
In the event of the death of the Head of the Family, JetPrivilege service centre must be informed. All the Members of the Family associated with the account will be delinked and receive an email informing them of the same. A new MyFamily+ account will need to be initiated by a new Head of the Family.
42. In the event of the death of a Member of the Family, can we add a new family member? What is the procedure for the same?
Yes. In the event of the death of the member of the family, JetPrivilege service centre must be informed, based on the produced documents for the deceased member, the member’s account status will change to deceased. The Member of the Family will be delinked from the MyFamily+ account. The Head of the Family can then add a new Member of the Family into his MyFamily+ account.
43. In the event of the death of the Head of the Family/ Member of the Family, what happens to the existing JPMiles in the account?
The legal heir needs to submit a copy of the death certificate and a certificate stating that he / she is the legal heir, to the JetPrivilege Service Centre. Post this, the legal heir can redeem the JPMiles from the deceased member’s account.
44. Can we deactivate a MyFamily+ account? If yes, what is the procedure for the same?
If the Head of the Family wishes to discontinue with the MyFamily+ account, his / her account will be debited with 250 JPMiles for each Member of the Family that is delinked from the MyFamily+ account.
45. Can Head of the Family join any other MyFamily+ account as Member of the Family after discontinuing existing MyFamily+ account?
No. Once a Head of the Family, always remains a Head of the Family. The JetPrivilege member who is Head of the family can invite new immediate family members to join the same MyFamily+ account but can never join any other MyFamily+ account as a member of the family.
