Flight Operations: Senior Commanders – B737 & ATR (Type Rated)

Revenue Management: Flight Analyst

Flight Analysts develop and execute product action plans to increase Jet Airways market share, yield and product profitability. Responsible of a number of Flights (entity) in a particular market. Analyzing their performance, identifying trends and making recommendations to enhance revenue opportunities. They are involved in constantly monitoring and analyzing competitor behaviour to ensure each and every flight in the assigned entity is optimized.

Their assignments typically involve quantitative and qualitative analysis of a competitive situation, development of recommendations, and written and/or oral presentation of those recommendations to Management.

Job Description:

  • Critical Flight Management.

  • Review recommendations & forecast generated by the systems on regular basis. If not found satisfactory then same to be escalated to MA / Sr. Analyst.

  • Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Analysis & Post Flight Reviews.

  • Monitor Competition activities & Market Share.

  • Ensure accurate PDD supplied in System.

  • Execute day-to-day Equipment change / any operational level requirements.

  • Co-ordination with sales, operations, airport services & other depts.

  • Group approvals (to group desk) and fare / price quote for group.

  • Ensure all the system interfaces are working as desired.

  • Inventory allocation / discount class allocation based on guidelines set by MA.

  • Reduce spoilage & dilution on flights based as per agreed targets.

  • Increase Seat Factor, Revenue, Passenger and Market Share as per agreed targets & based on guidelines set by Market Analyst.

  • Provide feedback / suggestion to Market Analyst for any pricing action/s and / or adding / reducing production in view of changed / anticipated demand.

Candidate's Profile:

  • Should have minimum 4 years of Experience.

  • Should be a Graduate preferably in Business, Economics, Statistics or related field.

  • Should have strong analytical skills with proven problem solving skills and have high standards of excellence and attention to details.

Revenue Management: Pricing Analyst

Pricing decisions need to support the overall company strategy. Pricing analyst is required to provide valuable insight into factors that contribute to revenues, profits, costs, competitive positioning, and long-term market opportunities. The Analyst must ensure Jet Airways’ competitiveness in the market place at all times by monitoring demand, competitor pricing activities, market trends and socio-economic changes. Analyst must be able to evaluate pricing recommendations, suggest pricing promotions/tactical and devise creative pricing strategies for both domestic and international markets considering the above factors. He / she will work closely with various functional units when establishing pricing policies and procedures for new products or services.

Job Description:

  • Review and evaluate pricing proposals based on financial analysis, competitive assessment/trend analysis, market dynamics and regulatory issues.

Executive – Fare Distribution

Location: Mumbai

Job Profile

The candidate is responsible for delivery of high standard & accurate filing and distribution of fares through ATPCO. Should possess analytical skills to investigate technical and GDS related issues and bring solutions to the same.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • The applicant should be a graduate with minimum of 3 years of experience in fare distribution in ATPCO and other GDS.

  • IATA certification would be added advantage.

  • Should be thorough in filing/coding of ADD-ONs, Cat 25 (Fare by Rule), Cat 35 (Negotiated Fares). Additionally, knowledge of Service Fee (YQ/YR), Optional Services (Bag allowance, Bag charges, seat select etc.,), Cat 31 and Cat 33 would be preferred.

  • Good knowledge of GDSs entries.

  • Should have good communication (oral and written) skills.

  • Should be proficient with MS Office.

On the Job Training

Location: Mumbai

Educational Qualification

The candidate must have completed all 5 semesters of AME course from a DGCA approved institution. dgca.gov.in/ame/ametrg.pdf. It is mandatory for candidates to obtain a recommendation letter from their college / institution. The letter should state that the On the Job training is required by the candidate as it's a part of the curriculum for obtaining his / her AME certificate.

Documents required

Letter from college if the candidate has completed 2.5 years of AME Diploma, 5th semester mark sheet, 2 pass-port size photographs, permanent residential proof document. (Original and Photocopy)

Process for inducting an OJT in Jet Airways:

  • Online Filling of Forms: The candidate needs to fill an online form to apply for On the Job Training in Jet Airways Engineering & Maintenance Department. The form will be available on the website - jetairways.com in the Careers section.

  • Shortlisting of candidates: Shortlisting of candidates for written test will be done based on details in the form if they have completed AME Diploma or have completed 5th Semester in AME Diploma.

  • Written Test: A written test will be conducted for shortlisted candidates for OJT in Jet Airways Mumbai Hangar. Written test will consist of multiple choice questions. Candidates will be shortlisted only after they clear the written test.

  • Training Fees: Training cost of INR 36,000 will be applicable to all selected candidates. Training cost will have to be paid via a demand draft three days prior of the commencement of the On the Job Training. This amount is non-refundable. Bank account details shall be known post shortlisting of candidates.

(*There shall be no refund even if a candidate attends one day of the OJT training.)

Other Information:

Assistant Manager - Structure

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Candidate should possess an AME License in B1 with a minimum experience of 15 years in maintenance of which ten years must be as a certifying Engineer.

  • Assist the Manager, Structure Shop in the management and administration of Structure shop and its activities.
