Mr. Naresh Goyal


Mr. Naresh Goyal, the founder Chairman of Jet Airways, India’s premier airline, has over 40 years of experience in the Civil Aviation industry. With his vast experience in the field of aviation, Mr. Goyal is the recipient of several national and international awards. Mr. Goyal currently serves on the prestigious International Air Transport Association (IATA) Board of Governors.

Ms. Rajshree Pathy


Ms. Rajshree Pathy is the Chairman of Rajshree Sugars and Chemicals Limited. She is a Graduate in Commerce, has completed the Owner President Management Program (OPM), Harvard Business School, Harvard University, U.S.A. as well as the program on Strategic Alliances & Corporate Ethics, INSEAD, Fontainebleau, France. The Government of India conferred Ms. Rajshree Pathy the prestigious Padma Shree award in the field of Trade and Industry in 2013. She has also been awarded several distinctions at National and Global platforms.

Mr. Gaurang Shetty

Whole Time Director

Mr. Gaurang Shetty, an Indian national, is a Bachelor in Science with over 32 years’ experience in the aviation industry. He joined the Company in 1996 as General Manager- Marketing and was promoted to Vice President – Marketing in 2004 and then as Sr. Vice President – Commercial in 2011, being responsible for all commercial activities related to In-Flight Services and Customer Services, including Cargo, for both domestic and international operations. On 24 May 2012, he was appointed on the Board of Directors of the Company as Director and Manager and was re-designated as whole-time director on 25 May 2015. In his present role, he is responsible for the management of the affairs of the Company subject to superintendence, control and directions of the Board of Directors of the Company. Prior to joining the Company, he was with British Airways as its Marketing Manager –South Asia, where he was responsible for passenger marketing, customer service and cargo.

Mr. Harsh Mohan


Mr. Harsh Mohan is the Chief-Group Support Services Officer for the Etihad Aviation Group. In his current role, he is responsible for integrating a range of support functions, ensuring a genuine value-based transformation and customer-based service delivery to the Group. Previously, he held the position of Chief-Executive Affairs, responsible for the Chairman's Project Management Office (PMO), Corporate Strategic Initiatives, Corporate PMO, Business Transformation, Ethics, and Risk Management teams for the Group.

Mr. Harsh Mohan joined Etihad Airways as Vice President Internal Audit and Risk Management in April 2011 and was promoted to Senior Vice President Audit, Compliance and Risk Management in January 2013. In this position he was responsible for Internal Audit, Compliance and Ethics, Risk Management and related Advisory services for Etihad Airways and its partner companies. He has extensive experience in the aviation industry covering internal audit, financial planning and controls, business transformation, distribution, strategic cost management and Enterprise Risk Management.

Before joining Etihad Airways, from 2007 to 2011, he served as General Auditor and Senior Director, Risk Management and Business Transformation at Air Canada, where he led the cost and business transformation programmer which resulted in major bottom-line improvements for the company.

Mr. Harsh Mohan is a Chartered Accountant from India and qualified as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the US.

Mr. Kevin Knight


Mr. Kevin Knight joined Etihad as Group Chief Strategy & Planning Officer in March 2011. In this role Kevin is responsible for fleet planning, government and international affairs and the overall corporate strategy, planning and the development of the Etihad Aviation Group.

Mr. Knight has more than 30 years’ experience in the airline industry, including business development, strategic planning and operations. Before joining Etihad, he spent 17 years at United Airlines, the last five as Senior Vice President Planning.

Mr. Knight holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Westminster College, Utah, and an MBA from the University of Utah.

Mrs. Anita Goyal


Mrs. Anita has been associated with Jet Airways (India) Limited (the Company) since inception and served the Company in various capacities in the Sales and Marketing Department including as a Vice President - Sales and Marketing from 1998 to 2004. She was appointed as Executive Vice - President - Marketing and Sales in 2005.

She was appointed as Executive Vice President- Revenue Management and Network Planning in the Company in August 2007, the position she held till she was appointed as Non-Executive Director in the Company on 8th April, 2015.

Mrs. Goyal has done her B. A. (Honours) - Specialization in Political Science & Sociology.

Her expertise areas include:

  • Formulation and deployment of medium and long term business strategy.

  • Implementation of a Revenue Management Strategy to maximize top-line revenue generation.

  • Analysis of new potential business for profitability as it relates to displacement and bottom line result.

During her tenure, the company registered a spectacular growth in the network and consolidating of the operations of Jet Airways. She has contributed towards maintaining its 'Most Preferred Airline' status, due to the high quality of its product, convenient flight timings and connections, an innovative customer loyalty programme and through various fare schemes.

Mr. Ranjan Mathai


Mr. Ranjan Mathai is a former Indian Foreign Secretary and former Indian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom. Prior to this he served as Foreign Secretary of India and has also served in Indian Embassies in Vienna, Colombo, Washington, Tehran and Brussels. Mr. Mathai served as Indian Ambassador to Israel, and was also the Indian Ambassador in Qatar. He held the post of Deputy High Commissioner of India to the United Kingdom and then became Ambassador of India to France.

Mr. Ashok Chawla


Mr. Ashok Chawla obtained his Masters in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics in 1972 and joined the Indian Administrative Service in 1973. He has been a distinguished civil servant with over 40 years of experience in various sectors of the Indian economy as well as in International Multilateral agencies. He started his career in the State of Gujarat where he held various positions, including Chief Executive of several important State-Owned enterprise(s).

He has held several senior positions in the Federal Government at Delhi and been Permanent Secretary in key ministries of the Government of India such as Finance, Economic Affairs & Civil Aviation as well as served on the Boards of the Reserve Bank of India and the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority. He has at different points in time, been India's Executive Director on the International Fund for Agricultural Development and Alternate Governor for India at the World Bank & Asian Development Bank.

Mr. Chawla has also held leadership positions in the corporate sector. He has been Chairman and Managing Director of Indian Petrochemicals Corporation Limited and a Director on the Oil and Natural Gas Commission (ONGC). After his retirement from the civil service, he was appointed as the Chairman of the Competition Commission of India (CCI).

Mr. Chawla is currently associated with the following organizations:

  • Yes Bank – Chairman
  • TERI (The Energy and Resources Institute) – Chairman of the Governing Council
  • TERI School of Advanced Studies – Chancellor

Dr. Nasim Zaidi


Dr. Nasim Zaidi possesses a Master's degree in Public Administration from Kennedy School of Government, Harvard University and has been a Mason Fellow for Public Policy at Harvard Institute for International Development. He has a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Finance from Indian Institute of Finance and also holds PhD in Bio Chemistry with several publications to his credit.

Dr. Nasim Zaidi has served as a long-time civil servant and has extensive experience serving in the Civil Aviation Sector in various capacities. He was a Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Director General of Civil Aviation where he contributed immensely to safe, secure, efficient and sustainable air operations in the country. Dr. Nasim Zaidi has vast experience of international air transport and regulations. He has worked in the International Civil Aviation Organization (‘ICAO’) for four years as resident Permanent Representative of India on the ICAO Governing council. He has also been actively involved in development of airport infrastructure, air navigation services, air-space management and aviation security at federal policy making level.

Dr. Nasim Zaidi served as Election Commissioner of India from 2012 to 2015 and as Chief Election Commissioner of India from 2015 till 2017.

Mr Sharad Sharma


Mr. Sharad Sharma, a career banker with over 40 years of banking experience, was the Managing Director of State Bank of Mysore w.e.f. August, 2012 to April, 2016, where he was seconded from State Bank of India. He joined Union Bank of India as an Officer in 1975 and thereafter SBI as a Probationary Officer in September 1977, from where he superannuated in April 2016.

His major interest has been primarily in the corporate and infrastructure financing segments, where he has spent over twenty years of his career. Besides, he has also had opportunity to work in global markets / risk management areas, at the corporate level, and for 3½ years in the Bank’s wholly-owned subsidiary, SBI (Canada), Toronto.

Mr. Sharad Sharma had been active in the banking industry. He was on the Managing Committee of the Indian Banks Association, besides being on the Governing Board of Indian Institute of Banking & Finance.
