Effective 1st January, 2012, short term visas for travel to Sri Lanka will be granted online at www.eta.gov.lk, for a fee. Guests wishing to apply for short term visas should submit their details online at www.eta.gov.lk and pay the required fees by credit card. Once the application is approved, visa applicants will receive an Approval Notice, a printed copy of which should be carried when travelling. In addition to the Approval Notice, guests must also have a passport of validity of at least 6 months beyond the period of intended stay, confirmed return/onward tickets, travel documents valid for the next destination/return and sufficient funds for stay. More details of the application process, fees and credit cards accepted may be found at www.eta.gov.lk ETA applications may also be submitted on arrival in Sri Lanka, at the ETA counter at the airport. Short term visas issued earlier in the passport will continue to be valid for the validity period/purpose of travel/duration of stay and number of entries stipulated on the visa. Jet Airways regrets that we are unable to submit applications online on behalf of the visa applicants.

The Airports Economic Regulatory Authority (AERA) in India granted permission to levy Development Fee (DF) for guests departing from Indira Gandhi International Airport (Delhi). This fee will be applicable for travel on and after December 1, 2011 and ticketing with immediate effect and to be collected on the ticket at the time of sale as below:

Since 1 October 2009, all passengers departing from Singapore Changi Airport are required to pay an Aviation Levy of SGD 6.10. The Aviation Levy will be used to fund the activities of the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) to promote, develop and regulate the local airports and air transport industry for the benefit of the passengers and the industry.
The total Singapore airport taxes amount to SGD 28.00. The breakdown of the Aviation Levy together with other airport taxes is shown below. This will be present on Jet Airways etickets under the tax code (OP) or (XT), which is inclusive of the Aviation Levy.
For our Gulf destinations (except Saudi Arabia), there may be visas arranged by sponsors, which are available at the destination*. In the absence of the original visa, guests must hold a photocopy of the valid visa.
Guests going to Saudi Arabia must have a valid Saudi visa, which will be affixed on the passport. Please be reminded that this applies to guestss to Dammam via Bahrain. * This was previously referred to as "Visa on Arrival". With immediate effect, all guests with or without valid Singapore visa transiting to any country, can join the Free Singapore Tour*.
A guest availing of the Free Singapore Tour will need to clear immigration and have his / her passport stamped. However, for those guests without a valid Singapore visa, his / her passport will be kept by the tour guide throughout the tour and returned to the guest after the tour.
*All transit guests are not guaranteed entry but are still subjected to Singapore's prevailing entry requirements.
In case of delay or cancellation of flights that are communicated well in advance, we request the guests to check the flight status before leaving for the airport.
Guests travelling with tickets not issued from the departure station on the below classes will be entitled for hotel accommodation, if available.
Business Class Fares booked and ticketed in C, J, Z and I class.
Economy Class Fares booked and ticketed in Y and M class.
Guests who are booked and ticketed on any other class, other than the above, will not be entitled to hotel accommodation and transportation in case of flight disruptions.
Guests travelling with tickets issued from the departure station, on the classes mentioned above only will be provided with transport to the place of residence or hotel by Jet Airways up to Rs. 1500/-. This will be paid in the form of an MCO (Miscellaneous Charge Order). Hotel Accommodation will not be provided.
In the event of a flight diversion, guests travelling on flights diverted to stations other than the station of departure, irrespective of fare charged, would be provided with hotel accommodation, if available.
Cancellation rules will be applicable as per the fare booked and ticketed classes.
If the guest misconnects his onward connection and the alternate which Jet Airways provides does not serve the purpose of his trip. The connection must be on the same Booking Reference (PNR) or proof of such connection must be made available.
For flights that are cancelled, the applicable cancellation charges will be waived off.
APIS information has been mandated on all international flights of Jet Airways.
Fast Track Immigration: We are happy to offer our First Class and Première guests, the special Fast Track clearance facility at both Arrival and Departure points, at Mumbai International Airport.
All you need to do is present your First Class or Première Boarding Cards and there will be two dedicated counters awaiting you, which will speed up your entire immigration process.
This information is regarding the security of our guests and their visa requirements
Security: Guests are requested to note that enhanced security measures will be implemented at all airports due to which there may be congestion at security check counters. In order to avoid flight delays due to these additional security measures, it is requested that all guests (tele checked-in as well as those who have web checked-in) report early to the airport for the security checks. Our check-in counters will be closed well in advance and all checked-in guests are requested to move for pre-embarkation checks well in time.
Visa requirements: We request all guests to contact their travel agents for any queries pertaining to Visa requirements.
A copy of the PAN Card duly attested by the passenger is mandatory when the sale of the air tickets for foreign travel exceeds Rs.25,000/- (per ticket) and the payment is made against CASH across the Jet Airways counters.
In the event that the guest does not have a PAN Card and the sale of the ticket exceeds Rs.25,000/- (per ticket), a signed Declaration Form 60 will be required from the guest. The Declaration Form 61 is only applicable to guests who have agricultural income. The photocopy of the document as proof of address required in Form 60 and 61 must be duly signed by the guest. Please note tickets will not be released by the Cashier without the above documentation
In the event of a flight being cancelled, the cancelled flight guests are provided hotel accommodation* provided their tickets are purchased from places other than the place of departure. Other guests are given transport charges to their residence.
* Not applicable for Jet Airways Konnect, JetLite and JetLite codeshare flights.
Passenger Service Voucher will be offered if the connecting time between the domestic and the international flight or vice–versa is more than 6 hours and within 24 hours.
No passenger service voucher will be provided incase the connecting flight is 24 hours after the guest's arrival at the connecting point.
Hotel accomodation for out international transit guests will be available only at the Jet Airways Gateway points in India i.e Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata and Chennai.
Hotel accomodation will be available for Jet Airways guests travelling in First Class or Première.
This facility will be offered in the following classes -
Guests can avail of this facility only if they hold confirmed onward bookings before their arrival at the transit point.
Tickets issued within 72 hours prior to departure will not be eligible for this facility.

The Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) has been introduced via Internet for citizens and eligible nationals of Visa Waiver Program (VWP) countries to apply for advance authorization to travel to the United States under the VWP.
It is mandatory for all guests visiting the US under the Visa Waiver Programme to apply in advance for travel authorisation, from the US Customs and Border Protection's Electronic System for Travel Authorisation (ESTA). The Electronic System for Travel Authorization works as below: Log onto the ESTA web site at https://esta.cbp.dhs.gov and complete an on-line application. Travelers are encouraged to apply early. The web-based system will prompt you to answer basic biographical and eligibility questions typically requested on a paper I-94W form. Please ensure that you submit an accurate data into the on-line application system at the time of seeking ESTA approval, please avoid typo errors as an invalid data would cause an invalid ESTA approval and may inhibit your travel. Applications may be submitted at any time prior to travel, however, Please ensure you apply for your ESTA at least 72 hours before travel. In most cases you will receive a response within seconds:
Authorization Approved: Travel authorized
Travel Not Authorized: Traveler must obtain a nonimmigrant visa at a U.S. Embassy or Consulate before traveling to the U.S
