When it comes to service, we always aim at delivering the very best. This includes our in-flight meals, prepared in state-of-the-art kitchens by accomplished chefs. Keeping in mind the individual needs of our guests, we offer a vast array of special meals.
Your meal selection is just as important as the other details you give us when booking your flight. Also, ordering and preparing special meals of your choice takes time. So, to ensure that you get the meal that you want, please specify your preferences to the travel agent or the Jet Airways reservation staff at least 24 hours before your departure.
Ask your travel agent to enter the appropriate meal code
To ensure that you get the best possible service, ask our reservations staff for the Special Meals available at the time of reserving your seat.
Please make your Special Meal request at least 24 hours prior to flight departure. For bookings made within 24 hours, vegetarian meals will be provided.
Ensure that your travel agent carries forward the Special Meal requests when bookings are amended (i.e. change of itinerary / reinstatement / change in class of travel etc.) If not, the Special Meal request will not be catered for, even if the request was inserted in the initial booking, and a vegetarian meal will then be served.
All special meals like Diabetic Meal (DBML), Low Cholesterol (LFML), Low Sodium (LSML), Low Calorie (LCML), Low Protein (LPML), Non Lactose Meal (NLML) and No Salt (NSML) have Vegetarian or Non-Vegetarian options.
Please ensure that your agent always prefixes an SPML (Special Meal) for NVML (Non Vegetarian).
While we make sure that your preferences are served to you, the following guidelines laid here, will help us serve you even better.
And now you can update your meal preference even after you have booked your eTicket, through the all-new 'Manage Booking' facility. Click here to know more.
