Mumbai: Jet Airways, India’s premier international airline, has announced special fares for the Indian Armed Forces and Paramilitary personnel with immediate effect. As part of this scheme, all serving as well as retired defence and paramilitary personnel, and their families, may now avail of a 50% discount on base fares.* This is with immediate effect, for travel on the airline’s domestic network (including Jet Airways Konnect), as also on the airline's code share flights with JetLite.
The special fares are now open for booking at www.jetairways.com - the official online destination of India’s premier airline. Guests from the Indian armed forces and paramilitary personnel may also avail of the airline’s Web Check-In facility, for enhanced convenience.
Announcing these special fares for our defence personnel, Mr. Sudheer Raghavan, Chief Commercial Officer, Jet Airways, said, “These very special fares for our defence and paramilitary personnel and their families, is but a small way of expressing our gratitude for their selfless service and recognition of their immense contribution to society. Under this scheme, it is mandatory for guests to carry their valid Identity Cards issued by the Indian Armed Forces as proof of identification throughout the journey.
