"Jet Airways would like to clarify on reports appearing in sections of the media about passengers travelling on Jet Airways flights from Ebola Virus affected countries.
Jet Airways has been in contact with the Health Ministry and other regulatory authorities, for several days, on ways to minimize risk associated with this issue and we are fully compliant with procedures laid down by the Health Ministry in dealing with such suspect cases.
With regards to the flight details mentioned in certain sections of the media this morning, Jet Airways would like to clarify that there were no guests on board 9W 302/358 from Delhi to Mumbai and those who connected on to these flights from affected countries.
In case of passengers who need to be screened, as a precautionary measure, the local health authorities carry out necessary tests and at the same time the aircraft is fumigated as per laid down procedures.
Additionally, Jet Airways has a deep cleaning process in place, over and above the regulator mandated practises.
Safety of its guests and staff is of paramount importance to Jet Airways."
