Terms and Conditions for Web Check-in:

The below terms and conditions apply to both Jet Airways and JetKonnect flights

  • Boarding gates close 25 minutes before flight departure for domestic and international flights. Please clear Security checks atleast 45 minutes before flight departure for domestic routes and 60 minutes before flight departure for international routes.
  • Sabre Record locator / PNR (Jet Airways booking reference) is the six letter code provided at the time of reservation. It should be entered in a format such as ABCDEF.
  • Guests need to print a copy of the boarding pass while performing a web check-in or can retrieve and print the same from our website before your travel date/time.
  • Please read the notes printed on your boarding pass carefully.

Web check-in is currently available:


  • For guests holding a confirmed, valid eTicket only.
  • For a group of maximum seven guests and a maximum of three segments per guest.
  • Anytime between 48 hours to 1 hour prior to flight departure for domestic routes and 48 hours to 2 hours for International routes (please see table below for conditions).
  • For guests departing from an airport which is online with our check-in system. The list of cities and airports where Web Check-in is available can be see in the drop down while using the Web Check-in facility. Please click here to view the list of cities and airports where Web Check-in is available.
  • During the check-in process, our Web check-in facility will display (easy identification) the Emergency exit and Non-Reclining seats.
  • Guests who check-in on Emergency seats are bound to govern by the rules of the Emergency exit seats as given below
  • Guests traveling on Emergency exit row seats must:
    • Understand oral and written Hindi or English
    • Be able and willing to carry out evacuation procedures in the unlikely event of an emergency
  • These seats are not allowed for:
    • Aged guests
    • Temporarily and permanently disabled guests
    • Visually / Speech impaired guests
    • Expectant Mothers
    • Guests under 15 years of age, including guests with infant
    • Guests requiring an extension seat belt to occupy a seat
    • Sick guests.
  • Jet Airways reserves the right to reseat guests already seated (checked-in using Web Check-in) on Emergency exit seats in order to comply with safety regulations.
  • For a group of guests booked in a single PNR with a mix of JetPrivilege members with various JetPrivilege tiers, Web Check-in facility will check-in based on different frequent flier status. With this facility, each guest holding a confirmed eTicket will be able to do Web Check-in individually as per the table below.

Web Check-in is available for guests holding a confirmed eTicket as follows:

Web check-in is currently restricted and not available for:


  • Infants and Children: If an infant or a child is a part of a group / PNR then all the guests will have to check-in at the airport and cannot check-in using the web check-in facility.
  • Guests with waitlisted or open bookings.
  • Guests with special service requests such as wheel chairs, extra seats, visual and hearing impairment, unaccompanied minors, pet in hold, stretcher.
  • Staff travel, interline travel, codeshare flights, industry discount, upgrade vouchers and agents discount tickets.

Once the boarding pass is printed:


Please proceed to the check-in area with the printout of both the copies (Agent copy and Customer copy) along with a valid photo identification document (mandatory) for verification.


The Credit / Debit Card used to purchase the tickets will have to be produced at the time of check-in. If the holder of the card is not the guest, then the guest should possess the following:

  • A photocopy of both sides of the Credit / Debit Card, which will have to be self-attested by the card holder, authorising the use of the card for the purchase of the ticket
  • This photocopy should also contain the name of the guest, the date of journey & the sector on which the journey is made.

The above documents MUST be produced at the time of check-in. If the guest fails to comply with these conditions, Jet Airways reserves the right to deny the guest(s) from boarding.

If the guest has any check-in baggage, the bags will have to be presented along with a valid photo ID to our airport check-in counter well in advance of the boarding time.


While Web Check-in is recommended to guests with carry-on baggage. Guests carrying check-in luggage will have to report at the Jet Airways airport check-in counter at least 45 minutes (Domestic flights) / 60 minutes (International flights) prior to scheduled flight departure to tag their baggage.


All check-in timelines followed currently at the airport will be applicable for web check-in as well. In case guest has excess baggage to pay for, the Excess Baggage Slip used for other e-ticketed guests will be issued.


Once Web Checked-in, guests cannot make changes online. i.e.

  • Guests cannot offload themselves through web check-in (online).
  • Cannot change the seat preference online.


Web check-in application allows 7 guests and 3 segments per guest at a time from a single PNR. However if a PNR has multiple guests and segments, check-in on the web can be done for a single or multiple guests.

  • Guests booked on separate PNR’s have to do a web check-in for each guest separately.
  • Gate no-shows will be offloaded from the system during the Missing Guest Drill at the airport.
  • Web check-in is allowed for maximum three segments. If the guest is eligible for through and return check-in for the onward or return sector, the guest will be able to web check-in.
  • Guest can check-in for any of the following, in the check box given against each sector.
    • Starting sector of the journey has to be checked in
    • For any other sectors, falling within the check-in range (as per JetPrivilege membership tier level), the guest can check-in of his desired sector
  • Web check-in is allowed anytime between 48 hours to 1 hour prior to flight departure for domestic routes and 48 hours to 2 hours for International routes.
  • If the guest forgets his web check-in boarding pass on verifying his identity, a fresh boarding pass will be issued at the counter outside the Airport or at the check-in counter.
  • Guests who wish to visit the Lounge will have to collect the Lounge Card from the check-in counter.
  • After printing the boarding pass, if there is any delay or disruption, the boarding pass can be re-printed and the revised timings will be reflected on the new boarding pass.
  • Changes can be made at the following Jet Airways touch points:

1) Airport / Curb side counter / City office (with City Check-in facility): Can cancel/offload or change seat preference. A new boarding pass will be issued against a photo id. All changes or re-check-in must be done D-2 hours. However if the guest wants to re check-in on the web, he/she has the option to do so.

2) City office/Reservation Counter (without City office check-in facility): Can cancel/offload a guest. Staff at these counters will not be able to change the seat for a Web Check-in guest as they do not have the facility to print a new boarding pass.
Guest can now re check-in on the web and select his preferred seat.

3) 24 hour contact centre: Can cancel the check-in status i.e. off-load guest only. However if the guest wants to re check-in, he/she will have to do the same on the web again.

Please note that after any of the above changes, the previous boarding pass is invalid.

  • In the event a guest reports late, Jet Airways may have to reallocate their seat which may result in missing the flight. Reservations are subject to cancellation if the guest is not on board the aircraft at least 25 minutes prior to departure. All existing no-show rules, terms & conditions, cancellation & baggage rules and allowances apply.
  • If the guest does not report at the boarding gate at least 25 minutes before departure then the guest will be offloaded from the flight as per the current procedure used at the airport. The guest will be liable for gate no show charges.
  • It is mandatory to produce a valid photo identification using the Web Check-in boarding pass for security clearance as well as for boarding. Valid photo identification - Official Government issued photo identification, Driving license, Election photo identification, Passport (for international guests), and Photo credit card.
  • Web Check-in is not available for traditional paper or TAT tickets. It is available for E-tickets only.
  • Proxy check-in is not allowed.
  • Any changes to the check-in status will have to be done at least 1 hour (domestic) / 2 hours (international). Existing cancellation charges, no show charges will be applicable for any changes made within 1 hour (domestic) and 2 hours (international), before departure time.
  • For changes in the check-in status guest will have to produce his web printed boarding pass at the Jet Airways ticketing counter or check-in counter.
  • Guests will be treated as gate no shows at 25 minutes before departure.

Jet Airways offers *Bonus JPMiles from time to time for check-in done on the web. However these miles are not applicable for a boarding pass which is re-printed using the web check-in facility.

Re-printing of a boarding pass is available on the web for a guest who has checked-in earlier through other check-in channels including tele check-in.

Please note: For Guests travelling from United Kingdom to any destination that transits onwards through any Indian Gateway, Carriage of any liquid above 100 mls is not permitted. This includes any duty free items purchased on board or at any of the airport(s) due to security reasons.

All guest who have web checked in and are boarding a flight from Mumbai or Delhi must check the Flight Information Display for their boarding gate details prior to proceeding for boarding.

*The Web Check-in Bonus JPMiles are not applicable for guests traveling in the G, E, R, D and X class.
