Children between the ages of 2 to 12 years need not just look forward to the excitement of flight take-off and landing, we also have a special Child Meal for them.
Please ensure you specify the age of your children when booking their seat and incase the booking is made through your travel agent, make sure the agent submits a Child Meal request (Code: CHML) while booking your child's ticket.
(Note: This meal however needs to be booked 24 hours prior to flight departure.)
We offer the facility of a diaper-changing table in one of our washrooms. Our cabin crew can guide you to the washroom where this facility is available.
Bassinets: Bassinet seats are available for infants weighing 11 Kgs (24.25 pounds) or less on our international flights operated by aircrafts Airbus 330 and Boeing 777-300ER. For details on bassinets, please refer to our seat maps.
Child Restraint Systems (CRS): With effect from March 24, 2014, Jet Airways and will permit the use of a Child Restraint System (CRS) inside the aircraft for infants for whom a seat has been purchased.
If a seat has not been purchased, the infant will be secured to the adult's lap using an infant seat belt.

Jet Airways does not provide child restraint seats and the same must be carried by the adult guest accompanying the infant.
Due to safety reasons, child restraint systems cannot be used for travel:
Child Restraint System Mandate: Child Restraint Systems (CRS) for use in the aircraft must have specifications / labels indicating that the device is approved by FAA and suitable for aircraft use.
Note: If an approved CRS with a worn out or illegible label is presented for use on an aircraft, then the accompanying adult must produce a letter from the manufacturer specifying that the presented CRS (indicated through model number, specific make or detailed description) is approved for use on an aircraft. The Owner's Manual which contains information that the CRS meets safety standards is also acceptable proof.
Unacceptable Devices: The following devices are not accepted for use as infant/child restraint systems on Jet Airways flights:
