A selection day helps to determine suitability for a role and whether they have the skills to meet the required competencies of a job. The selection day will consist of various stages of selection.
Selection Process
A. You must be dressed in a western formal attire i.e for females knee length skirt or trousers with a smart formal blouse and for males, a formal shirt with tie.
A. We generally invite candidates to apply online. However we may advertise and conduct walk-in-interview . If you have not applied online you can attend the walk-in-interview at the designated time and venue. You will be required to carry your CV and a passport size photo and a full length photo.
A. If you decide to travel to attend an interview, then you must incur all costs in order to do so. Jet Airways /Jet Konnect cannot reimburse costs associated with Cabin Crew Selection Days.
A. If you are unsuccessful during an Selection day, then you must wait for 6 months from the date of your Selection until you can re-apply. This does not guarantee that you will be invited once again as you will have to meet all of the appropriate criteria at that time.
A. You will be communicated about the next stage by the Recruitment team through e-mail / telephonically.
A. If you have not been invited to a Selection Day, this may be because you do not meet our minimum criteria. Also, your application may be incomplete which means that it has not been reviewed. Please make sure you check your application thoroughly before you submit it.
A. To conduct all the necessary clearances, it takes approximately 4-6 weeks for all joining formalities to have been processed. However, this all depends on how quickly you are able to submit all necessary documents and post your pre-employment medical clearance. You must take into account your notice period at your current job and also whether we have an available training course date for you at that time. If not, you will be placed in a holding pool and will be contacted at the soonest to join. This is subject to the operational need as well as the availability of training courses.
A. In order to enter the airport you will be required to possess an Airport entry pass (AEP). To process the AEP you are required to submit a no objection certificate from the police commissioners office. Hence, you are required to obtain a NOC certificate from police station depending on permanent address. In order to process your application when successful, you must go to the police station in your city of residency and apply for a Police Clearance.
