Due to runway closure at Khajuraho airport, flights to and from Khajuraho stand cancelled up to April 16, 2015.

Jet Airways flight 9W 2423 from Varanasi was involved in an incident on landing at Khajuraho airport earlier today.The aircraft, a B737-800 experienced a technical problem with the landing gear after landing. Safety chutes were deployed and all 59 passengers and 8 crew on board the aircraft disembarked safely and were transferred to the terminal.Jet Airways is making arrangements to transfer outbound guests to Varanasi and Delhi. An additional flight is also being operated on the Delhi-Varanasi sector to assist in accommodating the outbound guests.The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has been informed of the incident. The safety of its passengers is the airlines number one priority and Jet Airways will be working closely with the authorities during the investigation into the cause of this incident.
