Check-in while walk-in

With a view to ease the process of check-in, Jet Airways has introduced "check-in while walk-in" (Roving Check-in agent) at Mumbai whereby a guest can be checked-in by the agent with the help of a hand held interface device and a hip printer.

The Roving Agent is like a check-in counter on the move. This will help guests as they can now bypass long queues. The mobile agent can quickly access and verify the travel reservation details of the guest, complete check-in functions and generate a boarding pass, either Première or Economy, and book them on their choice of seats.

"Check-in while walk in" will allow the agent to handle a single guest with eTicket or coupon ticket, a single guest with same day return flight with or without return boarding pass, two guests with the same or different surnames, reissue of boarding pass in case it is lost or not printed properly.

Guest with baggage has to be redirected to counter, however, boarding pass can be issued and the baggage can be added at the counter.

This facility is available for domestic flights at: Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Kolkata, Chandigarh, Goa and Pune.

City Check-in

If you have a confirmed ticket and will be traveling with only hand baggage, bid adieu to long queues at the airport. Jet Airways now brings Bangalore, Kolkata, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Indore and Mumbai airports closer to you.

Guests traveling with hand baggage and a confirmed ticket need not report at the airport hours before their flight departure. All you need to do is to drop in at our conveniently located city offices and check-in as early as 24 hours prior to your flight departure. City Check-in facility will not be available 2 hours before the departure. Our staff at the special City Check-in counters will hand over your boarding pass and hand baggage tags.

Please ensure you report at the airport at least 45 minutes (Domestic flights) and 60 minutes (International flights) prior to the scheduled departure time. Then, proceed to the security lounge at the airport and get ready to board your flight.

Guests traveling on Check fares or any discounted fare ticket where photo identification card is mandatory will not be allowed to avail the city check-in facility. However, all JetPrivilege members traveling on check fares or any other discounted fare types will be allowed to city check-in provided the JetPrivilege card and photo identification card are produced.

Introducing Baggage Tag Through facility to/from Macau
Jet Airways guests can now travel to Macau and back with even more convenience! Fly Jet Airways to Hong Kong from Mumbai/ Delhi and guests can have their baggage through checked-in right up to Macau & back!

  • Sea-to-Air Baggage Tag – From Macau to Hong Kong Airport Ferry Skypier Terminal

Guests who purchase or have already purchased a Turbojet / Cotaijet Ferry ticket for travel from Macau to Hong Kong Airport Ferry Terminal, and are holding a confirmed onward connecting ticket on Jet Airways to Mumbai and Delhi, can get their luggage tagged all through their journey.

All a Guest needs to do  is to go to the Turbojet / Cotaijet check-in counter located at departure level at the Macau (MFM/YFT) Ferry Terminal or Nansha (NSZ) Ferry Terminal, and present their Turbojet / Cotaijet and Jet Airways confirmed onward tickets to Mumbai/ Delhi. They will then get their Turbojet / Cotaijet Ferry Boarding Pass from the point of entry to Hong Kong and their bags will be through checked  - in / tagged up to Mumbai or Delhi.

On reaching Hong Kong Airport Ferry Terminal, the Guests will have to proceed to the Jet Airways check-in counter - Skypier. There is no need to reclaim the baggage here. Just present the Through Baggage Tag and our check-in agent will feed in the tag numbers, while checking-in for the Jet Airways flight.

After collecting the boarding pass, the Guest needs to clear security & take the inter-terminal train to the departure gates. The Airport Ferry Skypier Terminal & Airport terminals are inter-connected and it is a sterile area. The Guests then needs to simply proceed to their respective boarding gates.

Important note:

1) The ferry from Macau must depart at least 2 hours & 45 minutes before the Standard Time of Departure of the Jet Airways flight connecting flight to Mumbai/ Delhi from Hong Kong.

2) This through check-in facility only applies for Guests who avail the Turbojet / Cotaijet Ferry and are transiting through the Hong Kong International Airport Skypier Ferry Terminal with confirmed tickets on Jet Airways flights for the same day to Mumbai or Delhi. This is not applicable for Guests who avail ferry services to/ from Macau  (MFM/YFT) Ferry Terminal and Nansha (NSZ) Ferry Terminal to City Central Ferry Terminal in Hong Kong.

3) The Baggage weight must be within the stipulated free baggage weight allowance specified on the Jet Airways ticket. If weight is in excess of this, then the baggage will not be accepted and the bags will not be through tagged.

4) Guests need to have a confirmed Jet Airways connecting flight ticket. They need to present the confirmed ticket at Macau Ferry Terminal Check-in counter and only then can their bags be through tagged. Bags can only be tagged up to one point in India. If the Guest is travelling Hong Kong – Mumbai – Chennai, the baggage cannot be tagged till Chennai.

5) At Mumbai / Delhi, Guests need to have their Turbojet / Cotaijet Ferry number for through tagging bags up to Macau. The Ferry Ticket is not mandatory.

  • Air-to-Sea Baggage Tag – from Mumbai / Delhi to Hong Kong and connecting on to Turbojet / Cotaijet Ferry to Macau from the Hong Kong International Airport Ferry Skypier Terminal

Guests need to inform the Jet Airways check-in staff in Delhi or Mumbai that they will be taking the Turbojet / Cotaijet ferry to Macau directly from Hong Kong Airport Ferry Terminal. Guests will need to have the Turbojet / Cotaijet Ferry Number handy (for example - 8S-25, 8S being the two letter code for Turbojet / Cotaijet) to be handed over to our check-in agent at Mumbai/ Delhi.

The Guest will need to advise the Turbojet / Cotaijet ferry number that they would take from Hong Kong International Airport Skypier Ferry Terminal, and our check-in staff will through tag the bags up to Macau (MFM). The Guest now need not clear Hong Kong immigration nor reclaim their bags. All they need to do is check-in at the Turbojet / Cotaijet check-in counters located in Terminal 1, Transfer area E2 and present their through baggage tag numbers to the Turbojet / Cotaijet counter staff.

After check-in the Guest is required to take the inter-terminal train to the Airport Ferry Terminal. The train arrives every 3 minutes and the time taken to reach the Airport Ferry Terminal is 2 minutes. After arriving at the Airport Ferry Terminal, the Guest can take the Ferry to Macau and on arrival at Macau, clear immigrations & collect their baggage.
