Reservation and Ticketing executive
Location: West London

Ticketing and Reservations Representatives sell Jet Airways service to prospective customers by answering incoming calls and assisting customers in reaching satisfactory solutions to their travel-related needs. To apply sales techniques while providing schedules, fare and flight information to our customers in a manner that meets the standards of high customer service as outlined in training and the call handling guidelines.
To work closely with the reservation manager in order to deliver a high level service of customer service. You will be responsible for reservations & Ticketing, Handling of group queries for both domestic and International travel.
Resolve customer/agent requests, queries and enquiries.
Liaise between the agent and the airline
Assist in soliciting new sales leads and training thereof of existing and new clients
Assist the teams with sales visits and coverage of the market
Provide pricing and fare information, and timely responses to any such related queries.
Maintaining a database of all new and existing accounts, maintain all sales related records, prepare reports and perform any other related assignments and duties.
Update targets/versus performance on a monthly basis and disseminate performance channel wise it to all sales staff
Provide back up and assistance to the sales team both internally and externally.
Co-ordinate and work in tandem with the Sales managers, account managers & sales executives
Maintain/process allocation requests and maintain all the relevant data. Timely responses re: allocation status to be communicated both to the agent and the concerned department/s in India
Accompany Familiarisation trips with agency staff
Provide regular monthly updates to the contracted agents re: their performance- current year versus their targets and versus previous year
Maintain a professional image and be well groomed at all times
Co-ordinate with the other sales support team members as and when required
Assist sales support Manager/ Supervisor with pricing issues and co-ordinate any such matters with the pricing team in India
Daily update on the booked loads to be disseminated to all a per advice
Prepare and Assist in preparation of presentations
Any other duties that maybe assigned from time to time

Knowledge of reservations and ticketing
Must possess excellent English communication and interpersonal skills
Good analytical skills in interpreting data and situations
In depth knowledge and experience of working in Travel / Airline industry
Experience in dealing with 1 GDS experience essential – preferably Sabre
Excellent communication skills via both phone and email
Ability to work well under pressure, handling several quotes and bookings at the same time
High standard of accuracy and attention to detail
Converting enquires into bookings
Offering excellent customer service, dealing with customer enquiries
Be an effective team player and have strong self-motivation with a positive attitude.
