Jet Airways inaugurates Kolkata’s new Integrated Terminal 2 (T2) with an international flight to Bangkok

Effective today, the all new state- of- the- art T2 integrated terminal at Kolkata’s NITB (New Integrated Terminal Building), Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport, commenced operations with an inaugural flight from Jet Airways, India's premier international airline. Jet Airways' flight service 9W 66 (Kolkata - Bangkok) became the first international flight to take off from this landmark airport from India's most modern, spacious Terminal 2 (T2), the largest in the country. Dr. BP Sharma - Airport Director graced the occasion as the event's Chief Guest and flagged off Jet Airways' Kolkata - Bangkok flight at 0015 hours this morning, in a symbolic ribbon cutting ceremony. Following this, the airline operated 9W 274/273 Kolkata/Dhaka /Kolkata, and 9W 72/71 Kolkata /Bangkok/Kolkata. Jet Airways, the largest carrier in the eastern region offering 76 daily services to/from Kolkata connects India's cultural capital with major metros and destinations in the north east. More importantly, T2 will be able to provide our guests with the comfort and ease of seamless travel while they connect from international gateway points on to the airline's extensive domestic network via Kolkata.
