Once the boarding pass is printed:
Please proceed to the check-in area with the printout of both the copies (Agent copy and Customer copy) along with a valid photo identification document (mandatory) for verification.
The Credit / Debit Card used to purchase the tickets will have to be produced at the time of check-in. If the holder of the card is not the guest, then the guest should possess the following:
If the guest has any check-in baggage, the bags will have to be presented along with a valid photo ID to our airport check-in counter well in advance of the boarding time.
While Web Check-in is recommended to guests with carry-on baggage. Guests carrying check-in luggage will have to report at the Jet Airways airport check-in counter at least 45 minutes (Domestic flights) / 60 minutes (International flights) prior to scheduled flight departure to tag their baggage.
All check-in timelines followed currently at the airport will be applicable for web check-in as well. In case guest has excess baggage to pay for, the Excess Baggage Slip used for other e-ticketed guests will be issued.
Once Web Checked-in, guests cannot make changes online. i.e.
Web check-in application allows 7 guests and 3 segments per guest at a time from a single PNR. However if a PNR has multiple guests and segments, check-in on the web can be done for a single or multiple guests.
1) Airport / Curb side counter / City office (with City Check-in facility): Can cancel/offload or change seat preference. A new boarding pass will be issued against a photo id. All changes or re-check-in must be done D-2 hours. However if the guest wants to re check-in on the web, he/she has the option to do so.
2) City office/Reservation Counter (without City office check-in facility): Can cancel/offload a guest. Staff at these counters will not be able to change the seat for a Web Check-in guest as they do not have the facility to print a new boarding pass.
Guest can now re check-in on the web and select his preferred seat.
3) 24 hour contact centre: Can cancel the check-in status i.e. off-load guest only. However if the guest wants to re check-in, he/she will have to do the same on the web again.
Please note that after any of the above changes, the previous boarding pass is invalid.
Jet Airways offers *Bonus JPMiles from time to time for check-in done on the web. However these miles are not applicable for a boarding pass which is re-printed using the web check-in facility. Eg: Bonus JPMiles for self service check - in options will not be applicable if the member has originally availed of an offline check in facility (e.g. Tele Check-in) and then prints the boarding pass online, for the same travel on the same day. In such instances, the word “Reprint” will appear on the boarding pass and the Bonus JPMiles for self check-in services will not be applicable.
Please note: For Guests travelling from United Kingdom to any destination that transits onwards through any Indian Gateway, Carriage of any liquid above 100 mls is not permitted. This includes any duty free items purchased on board or at any of the airport(s) due to security reasons.
All guest who have web checked in and are boarding a flight from Mumbai or Delhi must check the Flight Information Display for their boarding gate details prior to proceeding for boarding.
*The Web Check-in Bonus JPMiles are not applicable for guests traveling in the G, E, R, D and X class.
