A first for an indian Frequent Flyer programme and leading national fashion retail chain
September 1, 2009: Jet Airways’ Jet Privilege, India’s largest frequent flyer programme, will enter into a retail partnership with Pantaloons, one of the country’s leading fashion retailers with 45 stores in 26 cities across India, effective September 2, 2009.
The very first partnership of its kind in India between an airlines frequent flyer programme and a national fashion retail chain. The partnership will enable Jet Privilege members to double dip i.e. enjoy benefits of two programmes, Jet Privilege and Pantaloons Green Card. Jet Privilege members will be able to earn JP Miles and enjoy attractive discounts for shopping at Pantaloons. This partnership recognizes the elite tier status of the Jet Privilege members and gives them direct entry into the corresponding tiers of Pantaloons Green Card programme without any preconditions, that are usually set to qualify for a Pantaloons Green Card. Jet Privilege Platinum members will be automatically enrolled into Pantaloons Green Card Program, upgraded to the highest level 7 Star membership, enjoy a waiver of the initial purchase requirement of INR 40,000 in the preceding 12 months, earn 5 JP Miles on every INR 100 spent at any Pantaloons store across India, and enjoy a 10 % discount on every purchase.
Jet Privilege Gold members will be automatically enrolled into Pantaloons Green Card Program, upgraded to 5 Star membership, enjoy a waiver of the initial purchase requirement of INR 20,000 in the preceding 12 months, earn 4 JP Miles on every INR 100 spent at any Pantaloons store across India, and enjoy a 7.5 % discount on every purchase. Jet Privilege Silver members will be automatically enrolled into Pantaloons Green Card Program, upgraded to 3 Star membership, enjoy a waiver of the initial purchase requirement of INR 8,000 in the preceding 12 months, earn 3 JP Miles on every INR 100 spent at any Pantaloons store across India, and enjoy a 5 % discount on every purchase.
Jet Privilege Blue / Blue Plus members may shop for a nominal value, pay only INR 50 (INR 100 for other customers) to have themselves enrolled into 1Star membership of Pantaloons Green Card Program earn 2 JP Miles on every INR100 spent at any Pantaloons store across India, and receive an enrollment Gift Voucher worth INR 200 from Pantaloons.
