Q1: What is Pay Online Service?
A: Jet Airways has introduced a unique “Pay Online” service that allows you to pay and print an eTicket against an already created booking.
 
Q2: How can I Ticket through Pay Online Service (POS)?
A: Please follow the steps below to use the Pay Online Service:
a. Call the call centre/Jet Airways reservation office to book your ticket
b. The Call Centre agent will create the PNR based on your itinerary
c. Please logon to www.jetairways.com and choose the pay online option
d. Retrieve your booking by entering your First Name, Last Name and PNR. In case you do not have your PNR at hand, you can also enter your First Name, Last Name and Flight Number
e. You would then be shown your travel itinerary. You will need to then feed in your credit card number, CVV and Expiry date
f. On successful card validation, an eTicket will be created by the POS and a copy would be emailed to the email address provided in your booking.
 
Q3: What are the pre-requisites for ticketing through Pay Online Service?
A: Pay Online Service is available for:
a. Passengers holding a valid booking(s) created at Jet Airways Call Centres/Reservation Offices across India only.
b. Transacting in Indian Rupees or INR equivalent of USD fare
c. Who wish to pay online using their credit card
d. Bookings not previously paid for or ticketed and must have a valid ticketing time limit

Pay Online Service is currently restricted and not available for:
a. Infants if part of the PNR
b. Passengers with completely open bookings
c. Passengers with special service requests such as wheelchairs, extra seats, visual and hearing impairment, Unaccompanied Minors, Pets in Hold or Stretcher
d. Interline travel, Industry discount, Upgrade vouchers , Agency discounted tickets, Jet Privilege redemption and Employee rebated travel
e. Concessional Fares requiring validation of documents (E.g.: Senior citizen, Military, Student, Blind, Cancer, Disabled, Sea men, Leave travel concession, MEDA, Unaccompanied minor)
f. Other conditions as and when they may apply
 
Q4: What are the benefits of using the Pay Online Service (POS)?
A: 1. You can book your tickets while on the move
2. Payment through POS ensures security of your credit card information
 
Q5: How many passengers can be ticketed per PNR through the Pay Online Service?
A: You could make a booking for up to 7 passengers per PNR on the POS.
 
Q6: How safe is it to give my Credit card number through the Pay Online Service?
A: Payment through POS ensures security of your credit card information.Information exchanged with POS is treated securely and protected by Verisign, by using the internationally accepted and industry standard powerful encryption technology (128 bit secure socket layer, SSL). Moreover, the credit card details are encrypted and are masked in the PNR / reservation record.
 
Q7: Are Debit cards accepted for Pay Online Service?
A: No. Currently we accept only Credit cards for ticketing on POS.
 
Q8: Which credit card types are accepted for Pay Online Service?
A: We accept MasterCard, Visa and American Express credit cards for bookings on POS.
 
Q9: Can the PNR issued by Travel agent be ticketed through Pay Online Service?
A: No. Only PNRs created at the Call Centre/Jet Airways reservation offices will be ticketed on POS.
 
Q10: Can International sectors be ticketed through Pay Online Service?
A: Yes, we allow ticketing on POS for International Sectors booked out of India.
 
Q11: Can we book tickets for all sectors on Pay Online Service?
A: Currently you can book tickets on POS for sectors that are online with our ticketing system.
 
Q12: Can I ticket through Pay Online Service with someone else’s credit card?
A: Yes. You can ticket on POS with someone else’s credit card. However, in such a case you would need to carry a photocopy of both sides of the credit card used for purchase of the tickets attested by the credit card holder for verification at the Airport check-in counter. The photocopy must also carry details such as the name of the passenger, sector and the date of travel.
 
Q13: How should I cancel and refund the tickets booked by Pay Online Service?
A: Changes or cancellation of tickets through POS cannot be made online on jetairways.com. Please contact any Jet Airways Reservation office in India to make changes or cancel your reservation. Passengers residing outside India must send their request to info@jetairways.com.
 
Q14: Can the eTicket created by Pay Online Service be collected at the airport or any of the 9W ticketing outlets?
A: Yes. You can collect the tickets created by POS at Jet Airways office or from the Airport counter, after showing the proper Photo Identification proof.
 
Q15: What are the documents I should carry to the Airport for security check in?
A: To enter the airport and for check-in, you must present the itinerary receipt along with a valid photo identification (Official Government issued photo identification driving license election photo identification Passport [for international passengers] photo credit card) and Credit card Or Copy of credit card (both sides), signed by its Credit card owner.
