Q1: How do I access Jet Airways Online booking facility?
A: Simply log on to www.jetairways.com and the online booking feature it available on the home page.
 
Q2: How does eTicketing at www.jetairways.com work?
A: Jet Airways web sales engine allows booking one way and return in 4 simple steps with features such as interactive calendar, low fare option, flexible schedule options / displays, dynamic itinerary display, etc.

The reservation must be made online at www.jetairways.com at least 2 hours before departure.

You will need to pay online through your credit / debit card.

On purchase, the system will generate your itinerary receipt which is an eTicket and display the same on the screen. On it, you will find the key information about your reservation and flights. You will need to print the same and produce it along with valid photo identification in order to enter the airport and for check-in.

Also, an email will be sent to the passengers email address which can also be printed and used to enter the airport and for check-in.

Go directly to the check-in counter. Your boarding pass will be issued against this itinerary receipt and the valid identification
 
Q3: What is an Electronic ticket?
A: Electronic Ticket is Jet Airways' ticketless travel service. An innovative way of using technology of issuing air tickets electronically which eliminates traditional paper tickets and creates an electronically held record (ticket) of the transaction. This electronic image of the ticket is stored in the Jet Airways reservation system.
 
Q4: Why should I buy an eTicket? What are the benefits?
A: eTicket is a convenient, fast and safe option to the regular physical paper ticket.

Now no more worries about losing or having the ticket stolen.

You can book a confirmed ticket on www.jetairways.com up to 2 hours prior to departure.

It's convenient: you can buy and print your Electronic Ticket online in your home / office.

It’s safe: the Electronic Ticket cannot be lost or stolen.

It's fast: you no longer have to collect the ticket from our office or rush to the airport to meet ticketing deadlines
 
Q5: If I don't receive a paper ticket, how can I know that the booking is made and correct?
A: Although you do not receive a conventional paper ticket, you will receive an itinerary/receipt confirming your booking on your screen. This itinerary/receipt will also be sent to you by email either of which can be printer and used to enter the airport and also for check-in.
 
Q6: Are Electronic tickets available to all destinations?
A: Currently eTickets are available for all Jet Airways flights.
 
Q7: Can I request an Electronic ticket if I am checking-in baggage?
A: Yes, you can request for your Electronic tickets regardless if you have baggage to check or not.
 
Q8: Can I make a booking for an infant?
A: Jet Airways Online Booking facility for Infant is available, however for Redemption Tickets Online Booking is not available.
 
Q9: Can I book other airlines on www.jetairways.com?
A: Currently you can book only Jet Airways flights.
 
Q10: Can I book advance purchase fares?
A: If you meet the date, time and eligibility criteria, you can book the advance purchase fares online.
 
Q11: Can I make changes, cancel or refund my reservation that I have already made on jetairways.com?
A: The online cancel & refund facility is currently available only for JetPrivilege members. Refund facility is open only for bookings done on or later than February 12, 2007.

The retrieved itinerary will display only the unutilised segments in your booking. If the status of your booking is either checked-in, used or refunded, the same will not be displayed.

Once we receive your refund request, we will process the refund within 03 working days. Should there be any cancellation / refund fees, we will deduct the relevant amount and the balance will be refunded to the same credit / debit card used to purchase the original itinerary. Cancellation & refund charges (if any) would depend upon the JetPrivilege Tier and will be applied based on the fare condition.

Refunds done at a Jet Airways counter against eTickets will only be given or processed against valid photo identification.
Refund will only be processed against the itinerary receipt and valid photo identification and the amount due after deducting the applicable charges will be credited back to the Credit / Debit Card account.
 
Q12: Can I waitlist or review a flight online?
A: The facility to waitlist bookings is not currently available while booking online on www.jetairways.com. However, you can contact our reservations office, and we will be glad to help you.
 
Q13: How many tickets can I book online?
A: You can book a maximum of 7 seats at a time (adults and children included).
 
Q14: Can I still make reservations if I already have a ticket?
A: Currently, we can only handle new bookings made directly online. If you already have a ticket, please contact your travel agent or our reservations office to confirm your travel dates.
 
Q15: Will I see a confirmation page after I have just made a booking online?
A: Yes, you will see a confirmation page after making a successful booking. If you do not see one, please contact us at info@jetairways.com.
 
Q16: Do I earn JPMiles for tickets booked online?
A: All revenue tickets booked online will earn miles. Please ensure that the frequent flier (JP) number is provided in the form while booking.
 
Q17: When will you charge my credit card ?
A: Once you have confirmed your booking online, we will immediately debit your credit / debit card. This applies even if you decide to change your travel plans right after. Please contact us at info@jetairways.com should you like to rearrange your travel plans or would like to seek a refund. Please note that refund and/or cancellation charges may apply according to applicable fare conditions.
 
Q18: How do I pay for tickets purchased online?
A: Payment for online bookings can be made through both credit and debit cards.
While we accept all major credit cards, we accept Debit Cards for select banks like SBI, HDFC, Axis Bank, Deutsche Bank, Karur Vysya Bank, Corporation Bank and Indian Overseas Bank.

Please note: The credit / debit card used to pay for tickets may be required at check-in or during refund processing.
 
Q19: Can I use my debit card to book online?
A: We accept Debit Cards for select banks: SBI, HDFC, Axis Bank, Deutsche Bank, Karur Vysya Bank, Corporation Bank and Indian Overseas Bank.
 
Q20: Are online transactions safe?
A: Jet Airways is committed to the safety and security of the online transactions. Customer’s credit / debit card is as safe as possible when booked on jetairways.com.

Information exchanged with us online is treated securely and protected by Verisign, by using the internationally accepted and industry standard powerful encryption technology (128 bit secure socket layer, SSL). This software encrypts customer’s personal data as it is sent between the browser and our systems.

The web booking engine is directly connected to Sabre Reservation System & payment gateway(s) for credit card processing, avoiding that transactions get further exposed on the web. The Card Associations' reliability and security standards are utilized for these links.
