Q1: What does 'Indian Resident' mean?
A: Indian Resident means Indian nationals who are currently residing in India, foreign diplomats holding valid diplomatic status and foreign nationals with valid Indian resident permits. Proof of valid residency status and a local address will be required at time of check-in.

A NON-INDIA RESIDENT Can still enjoy competitive hotel rates by unchecking ‘I am a Resident” in your initial search.
 
Q2: How do I search for a hotel?
A: Select the city from the drop down city list
(i) Enter your check-in/check-out dates selecting from the calendar
(ii) Select Number of Rooms, Adults and Children
(iii)Click on Search
 
Q3: What should I enter in the Hotel Name field?
A: Enter the name of the hotel you would like to search eg. Taj
 
Q4: How can I find out more information about a hotel?
A: To access the more information, click on the hotel name, hotel photo or the hyperlink to 'Overview, Features or View Map on your ‘Select your Hotel’ Page' page (this page appears immediately after making your initial hotel request.
 
Q5: What is Best Buy Rate Hotel?
A: Best Buy Rate Hotels are special discounted room rates that are designated by a special ‘Save’ icon. We book a high volume at these hotels to be able to negotiate lower rates that are generally offered to our customers.
 
Q6: Can I make a reservation for someone else?
A: Yes, you can. Please ensure all the names of the guest are as per passport or photo-ID.
 
Q7: How many people can I make reservations for?
A: You can make reservations for up to 4 Adults and 4 children per room each depending on hotel’s policy. At any one time you can make reservations for up to 4 rooms. Please indicate the number of rooms and guest per room when conducting your search.
 
Q8: How do I know if my hotel reservation is confirmed?
A: After completing your reservation you will receive a confirmation page with a confirmation number followed by a confirmation email. If you did not receive your confirmation email, we recommend that you check the Spam folder in your email to ensure that your confirmation email was not auto-filtered to that folder. Additionally, you may want to add Jet Airways to your “allowed” senders list so hat we can send you confirmation emails and information regarding your future departures.
 
Q9: What do I do if I didn't receive a confirmation email for my hotel reservation?

Q10: What documentations do I need for hotel check-in?
A: You will need to provide a form of photo-ID for hotel check-in, i.e. passport or driver's license. Please print a copy of your reservation confirmation as the hotel reception may request to view.
 
Q11: How do I submit special requests, i.e. roll away bed, non-smoking rooms, and adjoining rooms, for my hotel reservation?
A: On customer Information Page which is the page after ‘Reviewing Hotel Information’ you can insert your special request which is under ‘Room Preferences and Special Requests’ header. While every effort will be made to accommodate your request we are not able to guarantee. We recommend that you confirm your special request with the hotel upon checking-in.
Any charges are to be paid directly to the hotels. Please note that special requests will be communicated to the hotels and they are not guaranteed.
 
Q12: How can I pay for my reservation?Will my credit card be charged at the time of booking?
A: Yes your credit card will be charged at the time of booking. Payment is required at time of reservation for hotels with Best Buy Rate (prepaid) hotel rates (indicated by ‘Save’ icon), the credit cards accepted are Visa & MasterCard. Incidental costs such as meals, laundry, mini-bar, telephone and parking are not included in your reservation rate.
For other hotels, your credit card is required for guarantee purposes and payment is to be settled directly with the hotel at time of check-in. Some hotels will require a deposit for stay during high seasons. Please note that local taxes and fees are not included in the rate unless otherwise stated.
 
Q13: How can I get a hotel receipt for a trip I’ve already taken?
A: You can click on ‘Retrieval of My Booking’ on your search page to view all your bookings. To view please insert your last name, first name and last 4 digits of your credit card. You can then print the hotel confirmation that will serve as a receipt.
 
Q14: Is my credit card information safe?
A: This site is registered under VeriSign Trust Network. It’s a secure site. This is an assurance that the site follows best security practices adopted by major online vendors. All information you enter when transacting over Travelocity is sent in a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) session and is encrypted to protect you against unintentional information disclosure to third parties.
The 128-bit SSL encryption we use is currently the industry's strongest. Any data you send while transacting will be scrambled into an unrecognized form before it is transmitted to our server which has a special key to decode it.
128-bit encrypted messages are much harder to break than 40-bit messages and it would be impossible to break using today's most sophisticated technology.
 
Q15: Can I use travel vouchers, certificates or frequent flyer miles to purchase my hotel reservations?
A: No.
 
Q16: What is the hotel check-in time?
A: Typically, the hotel check-in time depends on each hotel.
 
Q17: Will the hotel hold my room if I am arriving late?
A: Because your reservation is guaranteed with a credit card the hotel is obligated to hold your room until 7:00 am the day after arrival.
 
Q18: What if I need early arrival?
A: Early arrival should be requested in the special request section of the reservation page. Every effort will be made to accommodate your request; however it is subject to availability upon arrival at the hotel.
 
Q19: Our children will be traveling with us - do they stay free?
A: You are required to furnish your children’s ages and number of children at the time of booking. Depending on individual hotel policy you will be informed accordingly.
 
Q20: Why did I receive a 'credit card error' page when making my reservation?
A: This happen sometimes when we did not receive authorization for the charge from your credit card company while processing your payment, it is due to either the electronic link to your credit card company being temporary unavailable, or there is insufficient fund in your credit card transactions, your online purchase will often exceeds this limit. You need to contact the credit card issuer to have your limit lifted in order to proceed.
 
Q21: What if I need a specific type of hotel room (non smoking, handicapped, etc...)?
A: Please enter your request in the special request field of the reservation form. Every effort will be made to accommodate your request(s); however they are subject to availability upon arrival at the hotel and cannot be guaranteed.
 
Q22: If I check out early on a Best Buy Rate reservation, can I obtain a refund for the nights I did not stay?
A: Upon arrival and check-in at a hotel, you are responsible for consuming the entire length of stay. No refunds or credits will be issued for any nights reserved, but not consumed.
 
Q23: How can I obtain a receipt for my hotel room?
A: Your e-mail confirmation is your receipt. A copy of your reservation will be sent to you via email Please retain a copy for your records. If you need a duplicate copy, you can go to ‘Retrieve My Hotel Booking’ link on your search page, insert, last name, first name, last 4 digits of your credit card number to print a duplicate copy.
 
Q24: What credit cards do you accept?

Q25: Can I make changes to my reservation?
