We offer the following types of concessional fares on all our domestic flights.
Student concession
We offer students a 50% concession on the basic adult fare in Economy Class on all sectors operated by Jet Airways. All you need to do is fill up the student's concession form, have it authorized by your school / institution authority, and submit it with a photograph and your identity card.
Students, age 12 through 25 years and who have enrolled for a full time course at a Government recognized establishment can avail student concession. All taxes are paid as applicable to Adult passenger.
This concession is available on INR fares for Indian residents (students) only, subject to applicable Terms and Conditions.
And now, effective July 1, 2006 Jet Airways has introduced special Student Fares from Mumbai / Delhi to USA via London. These fares are valid for sales and travel until December 31, 2006 only. We also offer Special Student Fares from Ahmedabad to USA via Mumbai and London.
Effective August 09, 2006 Jet Airways has introduced Student Fares from Amritsar to London.

Senior Citizen concession
Senior Citizens 65 years and above are entitled for concession on basic adult fare in Economy class, on all domestic sectors operated by Jet Airways. And with effect from January 17, 2006, we have introduced a Senior Citizen concession fare in Premiere. With the introduction of these fares, the Premiere Standby Senior Citizen fares stand withdrawn with effect from January 17, 2006. To avail of this concession, you have to fill the "Concession Form" and submit it along with a photograph and proof of age. All taxes are paid as applicable to Adult passenger.

Jet Airways also offers Senior Citizens identity cards, which can be used to avail Senior Citizens concession for future travel on Jet Airways flights. These identity cards are issued only at Jet Airways Airport and Ticketing offices. You will need to submit the form (same as above) duly filled along with two photographs and proof of date of birth. Applicable documentation fee will be charged towards issuance of this card.
This concession is available in INR for Indian nationals and in USD for foreign nationals on domestic sectors, subject to applicable terms and conditions.
Note:
Foreign nationals need not fill up a Concession Form or apply for an Identity Card, but can avail of the Senior Citizen concession simply on production of proof of birth (e.g. Government issued Photo ID, Passport).

Cancer Patients
Cancer patients are entitled for 50% concession on the adult basic fare in Economy Class on all sectors operated by Jet Airways. Patients must produce a certificate from a cancer hospital or a cancer institute stating that the cancer patient is required to travel for medical treatment or check-up.
This concession is available on INR Fares for Indian residents only on domestic sectors, subject to applicable terms and conditions.

Blind Passengers
Blind passengers are entitled for 50% concession on the adult basic fare in Economy Class on all sectors operated by Jet Airways.
The blind passengers must produce a certificate from the eye hospital or from a registered medical practitioner. The medical practitioner must have a qualification not less than a *MBBS*.
The certificate can also be obtained from the head of an institution for the blind, recognized by the state or central government.
The certificate must confirm that the passenger is totally blind in both eyes.
As part of its ongoing endeavor to provide maximum comfort and convenience to its valued customers, and in keeping with its non-discriminatory stance, Jet Airways is the first Indian air carrier to provide an In-flight Safety Instruction Manual in Braille for its visually challenged passengers.
All Jet Airways flights will have on board, copies of this Safety Instruction Manual in Braille, thus providing a barrier-free environment for the visually impaired.
This 72 page manual which has been developed in English and Hindi, is a result of six months of intensive research. Developed on an IATA approved model, this safety manual adheres to the guidelines laid down by the World Blind Union on passenger safety. The document has been put through a series of test runs and revisions in conjunction with the Association for Blindness and Low Vision, for clarity of instructions, and has been adapted to be applicable to Jet Airways’ entire fleet of aircraft.
The manual has been printed in standard un-contracted Braille, which is an internationally accepted code. In order to maximize the convenience of the user, this uniquely designed document is printed with right hand pages in Braille and left-hand pages in ordinary text. This will allow not only reading comfort for visually handicapped passengers, but also enable cabin crew to specifically address any queries on any part of the safety procedures.
The document is made from the finest quality of imported non-tearable paper and printed in non-erasable special Braille dots in relief, to ensure long shelf life, reduced atmospheric effect and eliminate loss of clarity due to pressure and constant use.

Armed Forces concession
Armed Forces personnel are entitled for 50% concession on the adult basic fare in Economy Class on all sectors operated by Jet Airways. This fare is applicable to active military personnel of the India Armed Forces and their family members traveling at their own expenses. Family members are defined as Spouse, dependent children between the age of 12 and 26years and dependent parents who are not otherwise entitled to any other type of concessional fares.

Youth fare
Jet Airways offers youth fare, which is a 20% discount on normal adult USD fare in Business Class and 25% discount on Economy Class on all sectors operated by Jet Airways. Proof of age will have to be produced at the time of ticketing and check-in. Youth fare can be availed by passengers 12 through 29 years of age. This discounted fare can either be issued through any of the Jet Airways offices or any of it authorized Travel Agents.
This fare is applicable for all Non-resident Indians and Foreign nationals on domestic sectors, subject to applicable terms and conditions.

Locomotor disability concession
Passengers suffering from Locomotor disability and above can now avail of 50% concession on basic adult fare in Economy Class on all sectors operated by Jet Airways.
Passengers have to furnish the necessary certificate from the Chief Medical Officer to the effect that he/she is suffering from the Locomotor disability to the extent of 80 percent and above.
This concession is available in INR for Indian resident and foreign nationals holding residence permit in India on domestic sectors, subject to applicable Terms and Conditions.
