Q1: What is Web Check-in?
A: Jet Airways is proud to present our Web Check-in service - a convenient way to check in on the internet. Web Check-in allows you to select your preferred seat map and print a boarding pass in 4-simple steps.
 
Q2: Who can use Web Check-in?
A: Web check-in service can be availed by a passenger using a personal computer, Ink or LaserJet printer and Internet connectivity.
Web check-in is currently available
-For Jet Airways domestic and International flights
-For passengers holding a confirmed, valid eTicket only
-For a group of up to a maximum of seven passengers and a maximum of three segments per passenger at a time.
-Anytime between 1 hour and 48 hours prior to flight departure for Domestic and 2 hours - 48 hours for international destinations (please see table below for conditions)
-For passengers departing from an airport where Internet check-in is available; a list of cities and airports where Internet check-in is available can be found here
-For passengers fulfilling the following criteria
Web Check-in is available for passengers holding a confirmed eTicket as follows:

For Domestic Flights
For Premiere passengers:
JetPrivilege Members - 48 hours to 1 hour prior to departure
Non-JetPrivilege Members - 48 hours to 1 hours prior to departure

For Economy passengers:
JetPrivilege Platinum Members - 48 hours to 1 hour prior to departure
JetPrivilege Gold Members - 48 hours to 1 hour prior to departure
JetPrivilege Silver Members-24 hours to 1 hour prior to departure
JetPrivilege BluePlus Members - 24 hours to 1 hour prior to departure
JetPrivilege Blue Members - 24 hours to 1 hour prior to departure
Non JetPrivilege Members - 24 hours to 1 hour prior to departure.

For International Flights

For First Class and Premiere passengers:
JetPrivilege 48 hours to 2 hours prior to departure
Non-JetPrivilege Members - 48 hours to 2 hour prior to departure

For Economy passengers:
JetPrivilege Platinum Members - 48 hours to 2 hours prior to departure
JetPrivilege Gold Members - 48 hours to 2 hours prior to departure
JetPrivilege Silver Members - 24 hours to 2 hours prior to departure
JetPrivilege BluePlus Members - 24 hours to 2 hours prior to departure
JetPrivilege Blue Members - 24 hours to 2 hours prior to departure
Non JetPrivilege Members - 24 hours to 2 hours prior to departure.
 
Q3: Who cannot use Web Check-in?
A: Web check-in is currently restricted and not available for:
-Infants and Children - If an infant or a child is part of a group/PNR then all the passengers will have to check-in at the airport and cannot check-in on the web.
-Passengers with waitlisted or open bookings.
-Passengers with special service requests such as wheelchairs, extra seats, visual and hearing impairment, Unaccompanied Minors, Pet in Hold, Stretcher are not eligible for Web Check-in.
-Passengers booked on Staff travel, Interline travel, Industry discount and Agents discount tickets.
 
Q4: Is Web Check-in available for all Jet Airways flights?
A: Web Check-in is currently available for passengers departing from an airport which is online with our check-in system.
 
Q5: Can I use Web Check-in for International flights?
A: Yes. You can Web Check-in for International flights. Currently it is open for Bangkok, Brussels, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, London & Singapore.
 
Q6: Am I able to use Web Check-in for connecting flights operated by other airlines?
A: No. Currently it is not possible to use our Web Check–in facility for connecting flights operated by other airlines.
 
Q7: How many passengers and flights will I be able to check-in online?
A: Web Check-in is allowed for a group up to a maximum of seven passengers and a maximum of three segments per passenger at a time.
You can choose to check in on all flights in your booking that are open for check-in or only on the first flight open for check-in. You many also choose to check-in a select passenger from a group.
 
Q8: Am I able to check-in for my travelling companions?
A: Yes. You can check in your travel companions provided they are included in the same booking record (PNR) as yours.
 
Q9: Can I use Web Check-in for Through Check-in with other airlines?
A: No. You currently cannot use Web Check-in for Through Check-in with other airlines.
 
Q10: Do I need to register to avail of Web Check-in facility?
A: No. Currently you do not have to register to avail of our Web Check-in facility.
 
Q11: Why am I not able to check-in my flight?
A: You may not be able to check-in for your flight due to any of the following reasons:
-You may have entered an incorrect Record Locator (PNR)
-You may have selected an incorrect departure city
-You may have entered an incorrect first name and last name. Your first name and last name entered should be exactly the same as in your booking record (PNR)
-You may not be fulfilling the check-in criteria as per “Who can use Web Check-in?”
-Our flights may not be open for check-in due to operational exigencies.
-Your booking may not be confirmed
-You may not be holding an eTicket
 
Q12: What type of tickets can be used for Web Check-in?
A: Currently Web Check-in is allowed only for eTickets. This facility is not available for the traditional paper tickets or ATB tickets.
 
Q13: Can I cancel my flight after checking in online?
A: Cancellation cannot be done online. Please approach our reservations or airport staff at your departure city well in advance of your flight departure.
 
Q14: If I don't have any luggage to check, can I just go to the gate?
A: You may proceed with your boarding pass and a valid photo ID directly to the security check point for verification and security stamping of your boarding pass before proceeding to the boarding gate.
 
Q15: What if I have a paper ticket?
A: You will need to check in with a Jet Airways agent at the airport. Our Web Check-in facility is only available to customers with valid eTickets.
 
Q16: Can I use Web Check-in if I do not have pre-assigned seats?
A: Yes. Jetairways.com will assign seats for you during Web Check-in.
 
Q17: What happens if I use Web Check-in, but then can't make the flight?
A: You must contact Jet Airways well in advance of flight departure to retain the value of your ticket. Applicable fees and penalties in accordance with the fare rules may apply for changes.
 
Q18: I lost or forgot my boarding pass. What should I do?
A: For Domestic Flights: You may reprint your boarding pass on www.jetairways.com by visiting the check-in process again, or visit our airport counter with a photo identity.
For International Flights: You may reprint your boarding pass on www.jetairways.com by visiting the check-in process again, or visit our airport counter with your valid Passport document.
 
Q19: Can I add a frequent flyer number to my reservation using Web Check-in?
A: Yes, JetPrivilege membership number can be added to the reservation during check-in. After check-in is initiated, 'Please verify itinerary' screen is displayed. On this screen, select 'Add FFP” to add the desired frequent flyer number.
