Customer Service Assistant - Airport Services

Security Assistant
Location – Mumbai.
You should be a graduate below 25 years of age and unmarried. Preference will be given to those with an NCC certificate. You should have a pleasing personality and fluency in English. Female candidates should be at least 155 cm tall, while the minimum height requirement for male candidates is 165 cm. Your weight must be proportionate to your height. As we have flights round-the-clock, the position requires working in shifts.
You will be posted at an airport and your responsibilities will include monitoring access control to the aircraft, frisking passengers and thorough checking of baggage and cargo.
Cargo Assistant
Location – Mumbai / Delhi / Kolkata / Chennai & Bangalore
You should be a dedicated individual with good communication and interpersonal skills. You must be an unmarried graduate in any discipline or Diploma / Degree in Hotel Management, below 25 years of age.
You will be responsible for daily cargo operations at the airport, accepting and handling cargo from clients / airlines in respect of both domestic & international cargo, manifesting cargo flight wise, tallying cargo with manifest for loading, segregate as per loading instructions (at ramp), place documents on board and issue delivery orders. Moreover, you need to compile and prepare flight reports. Please note that this position requires working in shifts.
Pricing Analyst
Location – Mumbai
You must be a graduate in Commerce, Economics, Statistics, Finance, Mathematics or any related field. Candidates with MBA would be preferred. Candidates should have minimum 3 years of experience with any reputed airline in developing pricing strategies, tactical planning and effective implementation skills.
Your responsibilities will include understanding key financial and operational drivers of performance and integrate them into pricing strategy and tactical plan to optimize profitability while supporting the achievements of corporate objectives. Your job will also include identifying pricing processes and streamlining them to ensure competitiveness in the market and construct more profitable pricing policies.
Executive – Fare Filing
Location – Mumbai
You must be a graduate in Commerce, Economics, Statistics or any related field. Candidates must have minimum 2 years of experience with any reputed airline / establishments handing airline fare filing through ATPCO. An approved course in fares and ticketing will be an added advantage.
Your responsibilities will be gathering, interpreting and analyzing competitor pricing from multiple sources and synthesizing into meaningful information. You will also be responsible for filing of fares and related rules. You will be required to prepare, monitor, file and electronically distribute Jet Airways Public and Private fares and rules records via ATPCO (Airline Tariff Publishing CO) to all Global Distribution Systems and Computer Reservation Systems. In addition, you will have to implement quality control procedures to guarantee that all fares are accurately quoted and the associated rules displayed and made available at all time.
Flight Despatch Officer
Location – Mumbai / Delhi / Kolkata / Chennai / Hyderabad & Bangalore.
You should be a graduate and a qualified DGCA approved Flight Despatcher. Preference shall be given to Science Graduates with Physics/ Maths or Computer Science. Should possess excellent communication skills, high energy levels and should have the ability to manage high stress levels. Job would involve round-the-clock duties. Your job will be technical and operational in nature and will involve planning domestic and international flights, monitoring disruptions and management of the same. Should have overall knowledge of national and international regulations including ICAO regulations.
Operations Assistant
Location – Mumbai / Delhi / Kolkata / Chennai / Hyderabad & Bangalore.
You should be a B.Sc. (Physics) graduate, below 27 years of age, with excellent communication skills and computer literacy. You must possess outstanding analytical and administrative skills as the job requires extreme alertness, has high stress levels, and round-the-clock duties.
Simulator Technician
Location - Mumbai.
You should be a Diploma holder in Electronics/ Computer Hardware, with at least 3-5 years of work experience. Preference will be given to those with prior experience in Simulator maintenance.
Engineer – Communications
Location – Delhi / Kolkata.
You should hold a Diploma / Degree in Electronics or Computer Engineering with 2-3 years experience. Candidates with MCSE / CCNA certification will be preferred.
You will be responsible for operations of PC, server, peripherals installation, configurations. This will also include report generation, maintaining log books and monitoring communication equipments like Epabx, Reservation & Check-in system PC's & Printers. Moreover you will have to co-ordinate with external agencies like ISP’s OEM’s and various other vendors. Overall you will be responsible for the smooth functioning of LAN/WAN/Internet and maintaining of wireless & VHF devices. Please note that the job will involve working in a shift duty pattern at the airport.
Sales Executive
Location - Mumbai
You should be a graduate/postgraduate in Management Studies, with a pleasing personality, excellent communication and presentation skills. You should have minimum 1-3 years of experience in the service industry in Customer Service/Sales. You will be required to understand market trends and needs, and respond proactively.
Your responsibilities include ensuring sales through Corporate and Agency tie-ups, achieving the assigned volume and revenue targets set for the month, and meeting with the clients and agencies regularly to nurture relationships for the airline’s promotion. Most importantly, you should have the knack of following-up and tracking prospective customers.
Officer – Cabin Appearance
Location - Mumbai
You should hold a Degree / Diploma in Hotel Management, with atleast 3-4 years of experience in any airlines or the house-keeping department of a reputed service industry. You should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and should be below 35 years of age. Computer proficiency is essential.
You responsibility will be to ensure that the aircraft cabin is cleaned and made presentable for the passengers by following the aircraft cleaning processes and schedules as per the company standards. You will also be required to prepare the cabin defect report and follow-up as well as maintain serviceability of the ground vehicles and equipments. Overall candidates should have a keen eye for detail inorder to maintain proper hygienic conditions in the aircraft cabin.
Quality Assurance Manager
Location - Mumbai
The Quality Assurance Manager reports to Vice President Operations Safety and Quality (VPOPSQ). He acts on behalf VPOSQ. and is responsible for the following functional activities :
• Establishing and maintaining a quality assurance programme in accordance with industry best practices.
• Assisting in the publication and updating of the Operations Quality Assurance Manual in coordination with VPOSQ, COO, and CEO.
• Continuously developing the quality assurance programme, within their respective areas according to the goals of the CEO
• Preparing an annual audit plan for the relevant areas
• Performing internal and external audits in accordance with the scope set out in the Quality Assurance Manual; preparing audit reports; and presenting audit reports to the management responsible for taking corrective action
• Monitoring the application of corrective measures and assessing the effectiveness and suitability of these measures
• Examining irregularities according to the instructions of the CEO
• Ensuring data security and protection of personal data
• Writing and submitting a detailed report of all audits performed during the relevant period to the CEO twice a year (management evaluation)
The Quality Assurance Managers has the authority to inspect, at any time, the company’s offices and other facilities (and those of its suppliers), the company aeroplanes, and all documents contained therein in order to verify that established operational procedures are followed, and that required standards are achieved. Such inspection may be unannounced.
Emergency Planning Manager
Location - Mumbai
Jet Airways requires an EPM that takes initiative to manage and develop all facets of Jet Airways emergency response program, ensuring compliance with all national and international laws and regulations, and Corporate goals/objectives. The EPM is expected to oversee and coordinate all aspects of the Company’s family assistance response (CARE Team) and to ensure logistics support of the GoTeam. In addition to acting as corporate liason with DGCA regarding emergency operations, the EPM will have to Manage cross-departmental teams and act as liaison between departments to ensure Jet Airways emergency response preparedness and compliance.
Manager Documentation Quality
Location - Mumbai
To produce technical documentation within Flight Operations to the highest quality standards, in order to provide user-friendly and effective documentation to Flight and Cabin Crew.
Ensure the timely implementation, integration and usage of systems, document structures and procedures to provide technical support to Flight Operations. Maintain reliability standards for existing manuals and development of specifications for document structures for new documents.
Job Outline:
• To produce technical documentation i.e. COM (Company Operations Manual), MEL/CDL (aircraft type), Cabin and Safety Manual, Route and Aerodrome Instructions and Information, and Training (aircraft type) in both digital and paper format as per regulatory requirements within the Flight Operations department to the highest quality standards in order to provide user friendly and effective documentation to the Flight Crew.
• To standardize all the operations manuals and operating procedures within the Flight Operations Publication.
• Timely amendment of the Manuals once revisions from the manufacturer or regulatory bodies are received, including liaison with the Job holders and Documentation and Library Manager in order to identify priorities.
• Promote Operations Documentation on the internet/intranet, Flight Operations Portal, Computer Based Training, crew CDs, central repository, on board Laptop and share point ensuring consistency with the master copy and currency of data.
• Liaise with Performance Engineering and Technical Engineering Departments for modification plans, to be updated in the manuals.
• Liaise with Performance Engineering section for update in airfield NAV Aids, NOTAMS, New route(s) or existing route(s), new destination, required alternates for the operations, to be updated in the manuals.
• To act as the communicator of Flight Operations between different department of the Company for exchanging the procedures/policies affecting the various publication of the Company.
Experience and Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5 years experience in documentation management, technical writing, or have worked in a technical publications environment.
• Advanced skills in the use of Desktop Publishing software and building structured documents.
• Knowledge of XML, SGML, SGML+FrameMaker, HTML and Acrobat is essential.
• Ability to understand the technical contents and good attention to detail.
• Should be familiar with Indian DGCA CARs affecting the Flight Operations.
• Should be familiar with manufacture software.
