Terms and conditions for the August 2008 Promotion on jetairways.com / JetWallet:

1. Promotion Period : August 01, 2008 to September 15, 2008 (both days inclusive).
Bookings must be made between August 01, 2008 and September 15, 2008 and travel must be completed on or before 15th September 2008.

2. To participate in this promotion, participants must fly on any Jet Airways domestic sector during the promotion period by booking a valid eTicket under the 'India' country site of Jet Airways i.e. www.jetairways.com or through JetWallet, Jet Airways' Mobile ticketing application.

3. This promotion is only open to Residents of India having a permanent residence address in India.

4. Prizes for this promotion are:

- Bumper Prize – One (1) Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara SUV (Manual Transmission)
- BlackBerry Smartphones (31 nos)

5. The Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara SUV will be Manual Transmission and choice of colour will be according to the colours readily available in stock at that point of time.

6. The passenger traveling i.e. on whose name the ticket is booked on Jet Airways during the promotion period alone shall be entitled to participate in this promotion and not the credit cardholder.

7. Winners will be selected on the basis of a lucky draw amongst qualifying passengers, under this promotion.

8. Cancelled tickets/ Redemption bookings will not be considered for the lucky draw even if the booking is done during the promotion period.

9. Bookings cancelled, postponed or refunded will not be eligible for this promotion. However, the Customer is eligible for the promotion with Resheduling  of the flight provided the new booking date (on jetairways.com or on JetWallet) and new travel date is within the  promotion period.

10. Cancelled / Rescheduled flights will not be considered for this promotion.

12. Winners will be directly contacted by Jet Airways and the list of the winners will also be displayed on www.jetairways.com by the end of October, 2008.

13. Within 15 days of receipt of Jet Airway’s confirmation letter by the Winner, the Winner in order to be entitled to claim and be eligible to receive the Prize will have to produce the following documents:

- Copy of the flown Boarding Pass.
- A Demand Draft towards the amount of Tax to be deducted at source as specified in the communication by Jet Airways, drawn in favour of Jet Airways India Limited and payable at Mumbai.
- Copy of Identity proof / age proof / address proof evidenced by authentic Government documents such as passport, driving license etc.
- All the above documents have to be sent to Jet Airways by Courier or by Hand-delivery as per instructions specified in the communication by Jet Airways.
- Originals of the above documents furnished above (except the demand draft) should be available to Jet Airways for verification at any time before the prize is awarded. 

14. The prizes will be awarded subsequently subject to verification and fulfillment of all Terms and Conditions set under this promotion.

15. The decision of Jet Airways (India) Ltd will be final & binding on all participants and is non-contestable.

16. Jet Airways will not be responsible for loss, quality and performance of the prizes (Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara SUV (Manual Transmission) and BlackBerry Smartphones). For any defects, queries, complaints, claims, etc., the winners are required to contact the concerned manufacturers directly and without involving Jet Airways in any manner whatsoever and without any liability to Jet Airways.

17. The winner of the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara SUV (Manual Transmission) will be given an Authorisation letter proclaiming the fact that he / she has won the prize after payment of all applicable taxes and producing all relevant documents for the same.

18. Winners of BlackBerry Smartphones will receive the prizes by courier.

19. The Winner of the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara SUV (Manual Transmission) will have to go to nearest Maruti Suzuki Service outlet, specified by Maruti Suzuki in the Authorisation Letter in order to collect the prize at his/her own cost.

20. The winner of the Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara SUV (Manual Transmission) shall bear the applicable Gift Tax and all other taxes / duties as applicable.

21. To collect the prize, the passenger has to produce a copy of their ETicket Itinerary, proof of identity and boarding pass as proof of travel or such other document, as may be requested by the concerned dealer / service provider.

22. All entrants and winners waive any and all rights of claim with regards to the contest against Jet Airways (India) Ltd.

23. Employees of Jet Airways (India) Ltd, other Jet Air group companies, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, Maruti Udyog Limited and other Maruti companies, RIM (Research In Motion), M&C Saatchi and their relatives & family members will not be eligible to participate in the promotion.

24. Prizes have to be claimed within 8-12 weeks after the winners are announced.

25. Bookings on jetairways.com or on JetWallet (Mobile ticketing) can be made without this offer also.

26. Prizes are not transferable and cash in lieu of prizes will not be offered.

27. All prizes are subject to Income Tax as per the Income Tax laws or any other taxes/levies as may be applicable as per the prevailing Indian laws and the same are to be borne by the winner directly. Jet airways will have no liability with respect to the same.

28. Jet Airways (India) Ltd reserves the right to change, amend, extend, withdraw and/or alter any of the terms & conditions and prizes of this promotion at anytime without prior notice or giving any reasons.

29. This promotion is an independent offer and cannot be combined with any other promotional offer from Jet Airways.

30. This promotion is subject to the applicable rules and regulations as may be inforce in respective jurisdictions/states.

31. In the event the winner of this promotion is a child or a minor, the parent/legal guardian as the case maybe, will be entitled to claim the prize on behalf of such child or minor.

32. This promotion is purely optional to people travelling on Jet Airways during the promotion period.

33. The winners of this promotion may voluntarily opt out of it.

34. Disputes, if any, will be subject to Indian laws and shall be subject exclusively to the jurisdiction of the courts in Mumbai.
