Your JPMiles are valid for 13 quarters including the quarter they were earned in. Moreover, your JPMiles will only lapse on a quarterly basis (at the end of the 13th quarter) and not on an annual basis.

How the 13-Quarter validity system works.
E.g: JPMiles earned in the 1st quarter of 2008 (January-March 2008) will expire on the last day of the 1st quarter of 2011 (i.e. March 31, 2011). Hence only the JPMiles earned in that quarter will expire, and not the entire JPMiles earned in that year (January–December 2008).

The validity cannot be extended beyond 13 quarters. JPMiles that are not redeemed before expiry, will lapse.

However, in order to avoid expiry of JPMiles, you can redeem your JPMiles online and issue a JetPrivilege Award ticket for a future date of travel within the Jet Airways network, in favour of yourself, family or friends.

This will ensure that you have utilized your JPMiles prior to the expiry. Since JetPrivilege tickets are valid for 12 months from the date of issue, you can prepone or postpone the travel date within the validity period as specified on the ticket.

Incase you wish to cancel this Award ticket, the JPMiles will be re-credited to the account, however the JPMiles which were due for expiry will lapse. JetPrivilege terms and conditions and cancellation rules apply.

Quote your JetPrivilege membership number when making your flight reservations, and every time you use the services of our programme partners. Present your JetPrivilege card at the time of check-in and ensure that your JetPrivilege membership number reflects on your boarding pass. Make your reservation exactly as it appears on your JetPrivilege membership card.

View all the activities recorded in your JetPrivilege account, by simply logging in to your online account by visiting the My Account page. You will also receive periodic mileage statements via e-mail or via regular mail, if you have opted for a paper statement. Your JetPrivilege Statement provides a summary of all the activities in your account. This includes details regarding the validity of your JPMiles, the number of JPMiles accumulated and partner transactions. It will also tell you how many JPMiles you require, to retain your current membership level.

As a JetPrivilege Elite or Blue Plus member holding confirmed reservations on Jet Airways flights, call your local reservation office to Tele check-in. The cut-off time differs for Domestic and International flights on Jet Airways as follows.

For travel within India: Call between 24 hours and 60 minutes prior to your flight departure (between 48 hours and 60 minutes for JetPrivilege Gold and Platinum members) and Tele check-in.

As a JetPrivilege Platinum, Gold or Silver member report at the airport check-in counter no later than 30 minutes before flight departure. As a JetPrivilege Blue Plus member you are requested to report at the airport counter a minimum of 45 minutes prior to flight departure.

For international travel: Call between 24 hours and 4 hours prior to their flight departure (between 48 hours and 4 hours for JetPrivilege Gold and Platinum members) and Tele check-in.

All tele checked-in members must report at the airport check-in counter no later than 60 minutes before flight departure.

*Please note at London Heathrow the Tele check-in facility is available only to JetPrivilege Platinum and Gold members.

When travelling on an Economy or Première booking on eligible fares, enjoy a complimentary upgrade to Première or First Class respectively by using upgrade voucher/s. These vouchers are sent by JetPrivilege to its members from time to time, depending on their tier status, and to Jet Airways Citibank Credit (JACC) cardholders when they reach the spend threshold on their JACC cards - 8000 JPMiles for JACC Platinum, 10,000 JPMiles for JACC Gold and CitiBusiness respectively.

The number of vouchers required for an upgrade per flight, is based on the "Travelled Distance" concept with a minimum of 1 voucher per boarding pass. The travelled distance is equal to the number of base JPMiles earned for that flight on a full fare Economy ticket. Therefore, the number of vouchers needed for an upgrade is directly proportional to the distance of the flight.

Elite Tier Upgrade Vouchers: In recognition of your tier status, as a JetPrivilege Platinum, Gold or Silver member, get 5, 3 and 1 upgrade voucher/s respectively each time your tier status changes.

Co-branded Jet Airways Citibank Credit Card (JACC) Upgrade Vouchers: JetPrivilege members holding the Jet Airways Citibank Platinum Credit Card receive this voucher on enrolment, at the time of renewal of JACC Platinum Credit Card and each time they earn 8,000 JPMiles through the spends on their credit card. JetPrivilege members holding the Jet Airways Citibank Gold Credit Card and the CitiBusiness Card receive this voucher each time they earn 10,000 JPMiles through the spends on their credit card.

To get an upgrade, contact any Jet Airways Reservations Office and book your upgrade by quoting the voucher number(s) no later than 24 hours prior to departure of your flight. At this time, the upgrade will be confirmed to you right away, if available. Should the seat not be available under the upgrade voucher class, you may request for a listing. Listing for the upgrade is not a confirmation. If, at the time of check-in closure, a seat in Première or First Class is available, the same will be released in lieu of this voucher(s).

Do ensure you arrive at the airport a minimum of 45 minutes prior to departure for flights within India and 3 hours prior to departure for international flights. Check-in directly at the Jet Airways Première check-in counter by presenting the required upgrade voucher(s).

There are no Blackout periods applicable for JetPrivilege Awards on Jet Airways flights. All award bookings will however be subject to capacity and class control.

For Award bookings on our Programme airline partners, blackouts may apply from time to time and if applicable at the time of your request the same will be communicated to you by the JetPrivilege Service Centre.

In our endeavor to improve comfort and reduce inconvenience to our passengers using our lounges while flying on Jet Airways; effective June 1, 2008 we have revised our Lounge Access policies.

At International Airports:

• First Class passengers, JetPrivilege Platinum and Gold members (travelling in First Class or Première) can now invite one guest to the Lounge
  When booked to travel in Economy, JetPrivilege Platinum and Gold members can access lounges (i.e. members only – no guest allowed).
• First Class and Premiere passengers traveling on Jet Airways can access the First Class and Premiere lounges respectively, at select airports. At the other airports, our Customer Service staff will assist the passengers to the appropriate lounge
• JetPrivilege Platinum and Gold members will be invited to the frequent flyer lounge

At Domestic Airports:

• JetPrivilege Platinum, Gold and Silver members can access the lounge
• JetPrivilege Platinum and Gold members can invite one guest each to the lounge
• Jet Airways Citibank Platinum credit cardholders and passengers booked to travel on Premiere can also access the lounge

At airports with multiple lounges, our Customer Service staff will assist you to the appropriate lounge. 

In keeping with our commitment to improve customer comfort and being cognizant of the space constraints, we have created separate lounges at Mumbai and Delhi domestic terminals.

1. Mumbai

• The Clipper lounge located before security check can be accessed by JetPrivilege Platinum, Gold, Silver members, Jet Airways Citibank Platinum credit cardholders and Premiere passengers
• The Premiere lounge (located after security check) is available for our Platinum members (with one guest) and Premiere passengers

2. Delhi

• The Premiere lounge located before our Economy check in area, on the mezzanine level, is available for our passengers booked to travel on Premiere
• JetPrivilege Platinum, Gold, Silver members and Jet Airways Citibank Platinum credit cardholders can access the ITC Maurya Port Lounge located on the 1st floor of the terminal. Premiere passengers can also access this lounge

Lounge Access will be offered at the departure airport, wherever available. 

• Guest must be traveling on Jet Airways marketed and operated flight on the same day
• Lounge access is available only when flying on Jet Airways marketed and operated flights
• For in-transit members, the lounge access will only be offered if the onward journey is on a Jet Airways flight.

On Jet Airways flights our JetPrivilege Platinum, Gold and Silver members enjoy additional baggage allowance, over and above the normal baggage allowance.

Jet Airways Citibank Platinum Cardholders get 15 kgs additional baggage allowance and Jet Airways Citibank Gold or CitiBusiness Cardholders get 10 kgs of additional baggage allowance only on domestic Jet Airways flights within India. Jet Airways Citibank Credit Cardholders who are also JetPrivilege Platinum, Gold or Silver members will receive the higher of the two excess baggage allowances and not a cumulative total.

Additional baggage allowance is not available on flights operating the ATR aircraft due to loading regulations.

On Airline Partners: As a JetPrivilege Platinum, Gold or Silver member get additional baggage allowance when travelling on Gulf Air and KLM as follows

We understand that as a frequent traveller, you may have to fly at short notice. As a JetPrivilege Platinum or Gold member enjoy a guaranteed reservation* in Economy on domestic Jet Airways sectors within India. To use this privilege, you need to hold a full-fare revenue (Y/ M class) Economy ticket. Request for confirmation must be made at least 24 hours before flight departure.

*While we do our utmost to provide the reservation guarantee, we must advise JetPrivilege Platinum and Gold members that there may be occasions during the year when exceptional demand on specific routes would render us unable to fulfill this.

On Jet Airways: As a JetPrivilege Platinum, Gold or Silver member check-in at the Première counters, even when travelling Economy. Jet Airways Citibank Platinum Credit Cardholders can avail of this facility only at domestic airports in India.

On Airline Partners: As a JetPrivilege Platinum, Gold or Silver member check in at Business or First Class counters, when traveling on Gulf Air and KLM, irrespective of the class of travel.

Avail of this benefit exclusively as a JetPrivilege Platinum member on Jet Airways' marketed and operated flights on domestic sectors within India (not applicable on international sectors).

The waiver includes cancellation charges levied on tickets issued against a revenue published fare: -
- towards revalidation of the ticket.
- towards refund of the ticket.
- towards reissue of the ticket.

All cancellation fees on revenue published fare tickets are waived off (Night Fares, Check Fares and non-refundable tickets not included). No Show and Gate No Show charges are not included in this waiver.

We understand that with a busy travel schedule, you may not always have the time to wait until your baggage arrives. As a JetPrivilege Platinum or Gold member get Priority Baggage Tags for your baggage on our domestic as well as international Jet Airways flights.

On Airline Partner:
As a JetPrivilege Platinum, Gold or Silver member enjoy priority baggage handling when traveling on Gulf Air.

As a JetPrivilege Platinum, Gold or Silver member travelling on a waitlisted ticket, rest easy because, when accepting waitlisted passengers for a flight at the time of counter closure for a flight, JetPrivilege Platinum, Gold and Silver members will be given the highest priority status in the order of their tier status, as per the applicable check-in procedures.
