Students traveling to New York or London can not only carry excess baggage, but they will also be able to avail of various other special benefits. After purchasing the tickets from your travel agent all the student needs to do is visit our Jet Airways City Ticket office and collect his copy of the students kit. Mentioned below are some of the benefits offered.

Package Components:

1) Excess baggage allowance – We offer students excess baggage of one piece on all Jet Airways flights to US & UK. All they need to do is display their student visa and/or university acceptance papers at check-in and avail this facility.

Note: We also offer the same facility for students holding either Jet Airways documents or United Airlines documents - that is travelling Mumbai-London on Jet Airways' flights and transatlantic on United Airlines upto the first point of entry in the USA. Any domestic travel within the USA will be charged. Students can avail of this facility only if the student is not breaking the journey in London. Students commencing their journey between July 15, 2007 and September 30, 2007 can avail of this facility.

2) Fares - Our fares are most competitive, starting at INR 26,000/- (round trip) and INR 14,300/- (One way) to UK & most destinations in Europe, and starting at INR 36,000/- (round trip) and INR 19,800/- to points within USA.

3) JetPrivilege membership + 1000 Bonus JPMiles – At Jet Airways we value relationships. Every student who flies with us will receive a JP membership temporary card, plus 1000 Bonus JPMiles!

4) Special Discounts – Students would be given two MCO (Miscellaneous Charges Order) coupons worth INR 2,000/- each, to be redeemed against purchase of Jet Airways tickets for the student. 

These MCO coupons carrying the student's name and ticket number will be applicable for redemption against subsequent travel, only on the original sector for which the docket is given, and must be used within two years. Only one MCO can be used at a time, purely for purchase of a ticket by the student for her/himself. The offer is valid only for those tickets sold and with travel originating in India.

And that’s not all! A spouse or parent accompanying the student is also special to us. Our package therefore includes a discount of INR 2,500/- to be extended to the accompanying passenger.

5) Reliance Passport pre-paid calling cards – Pre-paid calling cards worth Rs. 500/- will be provided at the Jet Airways City Ticket office.

6) ICICI Bank Travel Cards – There is an inherent need for students traveling abroad to buy foreign currency. With ICICI Bank Travel cards they can now enjoy hassle-free transactions across the world.

The students will have to collect an authorisation letter issued by ICICI Bank from the Jet Airways city sales office as part of the student kit. They can collect their personalised card from the nearest ICICI Bank branch. The offer entails not only a waiver on issuance and reload fees, but also a discount on the currency purchase.

This new package ensures students will have an absolutely hassle free experience and will make their lives much simpler & convenient!

Terms & Conditions:

• Excess baggage only applicable on Mumbai-New York via Brussels (effective August 5th, 2007) and Mumbai/Delhi/Amritsar/Ahmedabad-London routes. The free excess baggage is allowed against mandatory production of a copy of the student's I 20 form or equivalent document/ID from University/Student visa for verification at the time of check-in at the airport counter.
• Excess Baggage only applicable on outbound journeys.
• Offer valid for sales on or after June 21, 2007 and on or before September 30, 2007.
• Valid for outbound travel effective commencement of direct operations between Mumbai & Newark and on or before October 31, 2007.
• Companion discount only applicable for one person accompanying the student.
• Refund will only be provided on both the tickets being cancelled.
• The companion ticket needs to be:
  a) Issued in the same PNR.
  b) In conjunction with the student's ticket.
• The companion ticket & the student ticket, both need to be cross referenced.
• The MCO coupons may only be redeemed on the sector of the original flight.
• Only one MCO coupon may be used per one-way/return flight.
• Copy of Student Visa/ID from university will be attached along with the MCO coupon.
• The MCO coupons are valid for 2 years from July 15, 2007.
• The student tickets will not be eligible for any other deal or incentive.
• The Bonus JPMiles will be credited to the students account in the first week of October; post taking the Jet Airways (ex-India) flight to U.S. or U.K.
